Hey ppl......
I wanna ask u a little question....
In trance, there's a lot of tracks with ideas about religions, space, paranormal, drugs, hallucinations and etc....,
but why there's not so many stuff with meaning of LOVE, the strongest feeling????? |

I don't know about you people but I would laugh my ass off if I heard like a full on track with a drop in the middle and a voice sample that would say something like...I love you baybe
it just wouldn't fit in there

Actually there is some psytrance with lyrics about love.
Right now I can't really think of anything else than some of the Hamburg stuff from Timetech, Emou, Haldolium etc. tho ... |

And at the end of the track I don't remember who exatly, but one of them is saying:

Yep it's true... Psychedelic trance is not the most Romantic genre.
It's not the exactly Barry White...
You obviously forget forget that the main idea of the genre is to make ppl dance, not to seduct your beloved.

Psytrance effects different people in different ways. The beat and the melodies create emotions and ideas within each listener, melding between the listener and the music. Love may be something expressed (or not) by the music, but it depends on the listener. Like any good art, definitions depend on the person giving them.

almost all the music around the world is about love, love and love! i'm getting tired of it!
every song in MTV is about love love love love alone , feel,without her, bla bla bla..
i'm happy that psytrance doesn't have tracks with love ideas in it...
