well, since it was a hugo episode, i expected a lot more. During season 2, the hugo episode named "dave" was the best lost has ever produced- psychedelic twisted acid trip. This one was just as boring as most of this season episodes. Nothing happen, they just sit back and wait. WTF

lost usual intensity have gone to the toilet.. will the rest of this season will remain the usual melodrama?

youv'e got to be kidding. the last two Desmond / Hugo episodes were amazing and spine-tingeling IMHO.
a real lost fan has to be satisfied with this season, i know i am - one of the best seasons of the series

Yes, indeed the 6th season has been great so far - not as good as the magnificent first season, but still with some great episodes. Especially the episodes with Desmond and Ricardo has been excellent, but also this last episode with Hugo did clear up some things, as well as build up a lot of tension before the finale.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

lost s6e9- wuuuuuuuut an episode jesus christ.. finally a great episode after the boredom of the past two weeks..

IMO, one of lost top 3 episodes.

ricardo episode was epic! for sure the best in this season, and as i mention, in top 3 lost episodes ever. the rest this season could hardly compare..

now hanky, When i see sawyer sittin around in camp, just waiting for somethin to happen, this aint lost. when i see lynos just doing nothin, and follow the rest, i am disappointed. when i see an entire episode about jin and sun, with no new information whatsoever, i wanna vomit.

now the last hugo episode, what happened aside to smokey throwing down desmond to the well? we already got the realms crossing and somethin is wrong, in the previous episodes. hugo, jack and sun are joining smokey and rest- well, why were they sittin on the beach for so long doing nothing? wut took them soooooo long?

I think this aint the lost rhythm we were used to. things are going ultra slow with too much focus on the other realm. donno, aint gettin that old lost feeling just b4 u c an episode.

Fair points there rabbit -

the jinsun episode was rather weak, and no big reveals were given at the hugo episode - then again i love this show and charachters so much, so these episodes are still top television for me... while no big events were marked @ the hugo episode, the appearance of Michael and Libi were awesome and i enjoyed every minute of this chapter, and the whole aspect of the charachters in the parallel life getting a flashback of the other life is very emotional and thrilling in my eyes.

so, its all over in a few episodes, quit the whining and enjoy what you get

It seems like what is going on now is that the smoke monster is unable to directly cause harm to the candidates... so since the beginning of the series even though he is essentially harmless to the candidates, his mission is to create general fear and a sense of menace which eventually causes the candidates to do harm to each other based upon their own choices as to how to react.

By orchestrating the candidates to enclose themselves in the sub after having slipped them a bomb, as Jack said, nothing might have happened if they had done nothing to disarm it, but due to panic etc. the candidates are not able to accept this possibility, and sawyer's conscious decision to tamper with the bomb is what caused it to go off... perhaps it may not have gone off if they had done nothing.

just like the ricardo episode, the best of this season does not include any of the survivors..

id love to watch a show about pre survivors stage...

Hmm, I don't know what to think about the Jacob-episode to be honest. Undoubtedly great to hear the background-story about Jacob, but was I the only one who though it was a bit too New Age and the acting was quite bad?           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Somewhat disappointing ending to the series in my opinion. There has been some great episodes in the 6th season (especially the ones with Desmond and Richard), but that "keeper of the light of life" plot is too weak, too New Age and too simple for my liking. Also, the scene around the fireplace where Jacob revealed their purpose was a major anticlimax after 5½ season with so many exciting cliffhangers.

Glad to see Desmond back in action though. Hope to see him kick some ass in the final double-episode.          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase
