I don't care if I get mauled for this, but I'm bringing a colossal non-kosher burger with 6 times the patties, 6 times the cheese and 6 times the bacon with a large side of fries cooked in pig fat. Whatever I can't finish I will chuck at the Belgian during his set... maybe I'll manage to knock his Heineken over |

About time the world gets to hear the inaugural trancefuck set by Dog of Tears. Homo sapiens appear to have evolved sufficiently by the year 2007 DJ (dead jesus) so that they now possess enough brain power and stamina to intake said aural waves without spontaneous implosion.

Hey Everyone,
There have been some slight changes to the details for MindBurger.
Because this is a benefit show for the Il Corral, there will be a concert held directly before our event to attract their usual crowd. MindBurger will begin directly after this concert, at midnight. You can show up any time, it'll be ten dollars for the whole night. Here is the updated info:
LOS ANGELES- Xexify Presents: MindBurger - 1/27/07 - f. Konflux, Catalyx, Belgian Goa Madness, and The Dog of Tears
SUNDAY JANUARY 28TH (SAT NIGHT) MIDNIGHT - 11AM
Xexify presents MindBurger, an all night psychedelic party in Hollywood.
Please join us for an insane indoor party in an underground venue in Hollywood. This is a fundraiser for the Il Corral to keep its wonderful JBL sound system. Sound inside is really great, with carpets covering all the windows for excellent indoor acoustics. This party will begin around midnight and go all night and morning until 11am! Please come prepared for an intense trance-dance experience. The evening will begin with a mix of industrial and psychedelic beats before shifting to pure dark trance. Some of our finest local DJ's will present you with a multi-layered, multi-dimensional Space-Burger-Voyage for your mind to digest at the outset of the new year.
Line Up:
The Dog of Tears (Xexify)
Konflux (Psytribe)
Catalyx (Mindfull)
Belgian Goa Madness (Mindfull)
Please be kind! This event is in a medium sized warehouse-like residence and the only rules are that we respect those who live there and keep it quiet when we're outside. The only thing the neighbors have complained about in the past is outdoor noise, so if we can keep it quiet, then we'll be able to use this venue again in the future. Inside, the atmosphere will be 100% chill with psychedelic deco and a small bar serving snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to bring your own booze, just please be respectful and clean up after yourself.
This party will cost only 10 dollars and is located at Il Corral, 662 N. Heliotrope Dr. (just south of Melrose), Los Angeles, CA 90004.
Time slots will be posted before the event.
Before midnight there will be a concert featuring Bizzart, Crooked Cowboy, Bob Bellerue, and Anavan, starting at 9:30 PM. For more information go to http://www.ilcorral.net |

Went to test the sound system and figure out the deco today with the "team"... should be awesome! We are delivering more than the necessary wattage for complete meltdown.

wow, cool... checked out the space. good underground vibe. everyone i met who runs the place had good vibes and is excited about having us. besides the space with the big sound there will be some places within the warehouse where we can hang out and a small outdoor smoking patio. i'm going to bring a few large cushions for the indoor chill out spots. i encourage anybody who has something comfy for sitting on the ground (cushions, rugs, pillows, blanket, etc.) bring it for the communal chill station.
