no. cuz u may use other things too like live recordins but still edit it on computer. so they make Audio only (rather then MIDI) music.

if you are working on audio files and not on midi files then you are workin audio.
soft. can be used with midi , no ? so if theres no midi then its audio ;) |

On this day we dont need to work with midi , we have strong os and cpu and allot of soace for ecerything you wanna work with.

There are things that synths are essential for them.. and ANYTIME sound of real hardware studio will b better than only computer based one |

the audio way of work just won't be able to replace the tweaking you can get with going crazy with all the knobs and sliders on a synth...
no software will ever do that just as good :)

But even VST tracks are basically MIDI tracks that are sent to VST and not to MIDI. Everything comes from notes, and notes = MIDI. |
