Have heard alot of this guy lately. He has been called "the best player ever" and so forth by many serious sport persons in paper etc.

Do you think he is as great as they say?

Leo is the best player at the moment, and considering he is only 22, he is writing history in football and will stay in records together with Cruijff, Pele, Maradona.           to use your head you have to go out of your mind

Unfortunately only forwards and attacking midfielders are being praised so much since they are the ones who score and steal all the glory from the rest of the players.

I will give one example to make myself clear.

When Makelele left Real Madrid the whole team fall apart even though they already had many many super stars in the team, the president of Real had said then that Makelele was always staying behind and only could pass on the side and backwards so he wasnt an important player for the team.We all saw what happened when he left and never was replaced.

I always preferred defenders and defensive midfielders to attacking players because i always felt that these playes were the backbone of the team.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

The time Messi can be named in a breath with Pele and Diego is the time he delivers at a world cup and leads Argentina to victory. He is still young so he has plenty of time to take this last step to immortality.

taking argentina to the world cup glory took a huge dent whn Maradona was named the coach !! i`mean he was super as a player no doubt about it but he was messed up guy otherwise off field .. Coaches/managers have always been ppl who can bring together a group of ppl and make them play as team !! with his huge EGO ...the first big dent he brought to Argentine football was when he fell out with Juan Roman Riquelme !! the MAN!!

Messi as a player is absolutely untouchable on his day unlike any other player but then he is also getting all the feeds of passes from the likes of xavi, iniesta and co... and then every year every match some where in the world produces players of absolute brilliance .. lets nt forget the likes of Roy Keane,Patric Viera, Scholes,Henry,Bergkamp, Totti, The maestro Zidane , Rivaldo,Del Piero,Gerrard, Pedro Mendez, Lua lua and many many more to name !! am talking at players at all levels not just the big players who own big things but player who brought smile to some ones face!!

they will all be remembered ..Messi too for what he has done till now !!

          Ppl with gUns don`t understand!!!

thats baSically the reason why they keep gUns..............too many misunderstandings:)

They were overwhelmed by the San Siro crowd and Inter's fantastic game plan and execution of it, I was crying blood after the 3-1 goal. I hope they can return on wendesday with a 2-0 win or more.

Forca Barcelona!

Best player at the moment though he owes a lot to being supported by players like Xavi and Iniesta.

Has a long way to go to be compared to legends like Pele.
