hey
actually there has been a spiritual colony residing in pondicherry, india.
Its called auroville. It was made by "the mother" and is a very serene, beautiful place to live.
Lots of people from many diffrent countries live here in peace. they meditate and ofcourse wat inspires them most is the spiritual guru "aurobindo ghosh" and "the mother".
Aurobindo's ashram and samadhi is also in the town on pondicherry.
what i liked about auroville is that all people from diffrent cultures come here and live as a free society. They grow their own organic food, they hav a lot of solar energy projects, they make good parties, they do lot of spiritual exploration..

but yes being an outsider to their community i wasnt aware of the politics which ultimately take over any human society which im sure is the case everywhere in the world..even if "we" have our own island there will be politics..which im afraid always ends up being dirty! heh gaia in this age?
its supposed to be "kal-yug"..the black evil era according to indian scriptures..
and next comes "ghor-kalyug" the ultimate black era..and well in ghor kalyug shiva will surely dance..and whoosh?!
