pretty interesting. Green Sector is infiltrating the hollywood club scene from the inside. have to say thanks for the free guest list before 1am cos it'd be $15 otherwise. got there in time to catch Kiva laying down smooth easy progressive lines for the unfamiliar crowd. this wasn't a trance crowd, this was I guess the Circus crowd. or nightclub crowd. Bumped into a guy who calls himself konflux and now I'm going to PM him (konflux, check your PM!) Left the room for a bit and got lost trying to find my way back to the room. by the time I got back Ricardo was bringing it up a notch. would have stayed to catch the rising tide, but I got a call on my love line and chose to bail. Came back around 2 but the music didn't catch my attention after that. Gotta ease these people into it with the easy stuff. later when they come to our parties they'll get the full effect

Konflux,
I will be opening at the Green Sector / T-Squared New Years Eve party coming up and if you want to get an idea of what I usually play, come sheck it out man.=) I did what you heard on purpose. Like Rich said--you gotta ease certain crowds into it. And Im tempted to say that you not feeling the certain vibe during ricardos set was because of the same reason. You cant play eskimo or even good bouncy orion shit to certain crowds off the bat because it has been know in my experience to overwhelm certain ears. So don't let your first party be the template. I know first hand what that template is and it was'nt that. Shit you couldn't even smoke a spliff in there!
