Yes I kind of knew that Pzy But there must be some kind of link there?

I just thought a bit more diversity in style when it come to promoting our little scene would be cool. After all it's surposed to open up people's ears toward electronic music.. So just to promote Full-on seem a little bit too narrow.

No offense of course

Wow there's so many Where to start?

But a few names that I feel would give people a good variated evening without making them turned off or run away screaming in fear (when they are new or unexperienced with our scene) could be:

Progressive Bands:

Trancefeld (Germany)
Lube (Germany)
A.K.D (Israel)
Antix (New Zealand)
True To Nature (Denmark)
Element (Germany)
Haldolium (Germany)
Timetech (Germany)
Vision & Canedy (Germany)

wow lot's of Germans LOL

More in the housey/tribal direction:

Inkfish (UK)
Kosheen (UK)
Fitadelic (Germany)

but than of course they can make house another day, prog trance at friday... and than dark pzy at saturday count meee.... but still can follow you guys (pzy travellers & Elysium Project) it was not just a regular party, got point there

Yes exactly Trippi_LD

The whole point is that it's not a regular party where people know what they want to listen to. Here the chance is that many people will go to such a party/event for the first time in their lives. If I understand it correctly the promotion of these events go outside the normal "in-crowd" channels and are promoted in Newspapers ect.?

So it is indeed a bit narrow only to promote Full-On. Our scene contain much more than full-on

No actually there's quite a lot of Full-On parties here and they are much bigger visited than the pure progressive parties which are more "underground". I get the feeling that most Danish progressive acts play more abroad than here. At least when it come to bigger events!
But of course there's parties here. Just much bigger Full-On parties. It's become very fashionalble here to attend Full-On parties Nothing wrong with that of course

well for starters this festival took place in aarhus not cph and not to start up with the old regional bullshit but the scene here is different and so are the party´s (when there are any )

the live acts that played are 2 of the most interesting acts in this otherwise bland category that all of a sudden seem to be called full-on, which is a label that imo should only be applied to music that sounds like too little work has been put into it, and not to the live acts that night. oh and alrune definately is variety from the other acts and dj´s that night altogether and soooo not full-on for sure.

geez full-on. that word is really gettin on my nerves grrrrr. :=)

monno I was not trying to dish the act playing there. And I know they are not your typically Full-On acts
All I said is that it was not a normal kind of psy party. It's an electronic festival that aim to present as variated electronic music as possible and open up people's ears to this music. People that might never listened to it before! And you know very well that our scene contain much more than just psytrance. I just think that our scene would have been better represented if the party/event had been more diverse with let's say 1 psy band, 1 progressive band, 1 psy dj and 1 progressive dj or other mix of "genres" see my point?

Of course it's up to the organisers to decide what to showcase there. All respect for that. But a little constructive critique is never a bad thing. I makes things evolve

And it does not really have anything to do with where the festival took place. I dont care if it's Aarhus or Copenhagen. My opinion would still be the same. Anyway I have never been into the whole Copenhagen versus Aarhus and the other way around disputes
