we'd really like to stop by on our travels (loving the russian night time sound)
Will we (english) need a Visa to travel into the Ukraine>? ?and also we could do with a map or travel information to get there (have no idea how to read Russian )

HI All,
Can someone please tell me more infos about this festival, because i do not know Ukrain language,and Kazantip website do not have english version. So whats the music that spins all the festival,what is the price ticket,for how many days ticket can be taken,on which day will psy trance be played,what is the right location of festival...and so on....so please more infos would be very helpfull. |

KaZantip is one of the oldest Russian festivals (from 1992 or 1993...) This year there will be 8 dancefloors - one of them will be psy-trance (Impulse)- it will work during all month every day.
The ticket for all month (I mean entrance to the territory of the festival) - 30$.
It is located in Crimea (Black Sea) - Ukraine, in the place called Popovka, which is sittuated near Evpatoria (town). To get there from any foreign country you have to get Visa (at the Ukraine embassy) - than find somwhere the map of Crimea in english and find there those names which I marked... I'm not sure that it is possible to get exactly there by plane - it seams that there are no international airports in Crimea - in such case you should go through Kiev (the capital of Ukraine) - anyway the country is not so big and it is quite easy to travel within it by train. Train comes exactly to Evpatoria (within the country, or for instance I go from Moscow - also exactly to Evpatoria) from where you can easily get to Popovka by bus - just pronounse the name of the place:)
