A review would not do this event justice. Maybe a pic or two. Or twenty-seven. Panoramically organized.

The only thing I can say for sure is, WHEN IS GOA GIL COMING TO MY TOWN?!

By far the strangest and most psychedelic odyssey i've ever been on!!!

I saw a few familiar faces from down south, and I know many of you who couldn't make it would have been absolutely out of your minds (bodhi) at the relentless onslaught of psychedlic mayhem put forth. And I'm not just speaking about the sounds: the environment, the people, the location, and the gil propagated some serious confusion for the senses and were directly responsible for some of the most bizarre sights one is likely to see. I can't explain further.

It was interesting to see the trance technician play longer than the majority of people were at the party - 15 hours in my case. And the altar was a sight to behold as I'm sure the pictures will show.

I understand this was the last dance at this location. Due and proper was given to the trance gods on this night. File under 'B' for bombizzastic.

For me, it was the best Gil show I had ever been to. The energy was phenomenal, the music was relentless, the sound was the best I had ever heard John's sound before... The people were incredible... Gil broke me... It got to the point where I just had to lay down and go to sleep because I couldn't move... Wow. I still hurt all over today. Thank you to everyone involved with that show, I am going to remember that show and place for a long long time           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Sith for sure. He derives his power from passion.

(Sith are not necessarily evil)

He also deals in absolute. ABSOLUTE MAYHEM!

Gil parties in SF are the classiest parties around - great great energy, people smiling and laughing at each other... ahhh

thank you to the excellent people who make it happen!

i really believe Gil saved up something special for us, it being the last Angel's Camp party and all, cuz he was the most ON i've ever seen him

and on and on and on and on and on

by sunrise he'd deconstructed and reconstructed the notion of what trance is... and then spent the rest of the day proving the point over and over...           sound is vibration

This was probably the one party I wanted to go to in the whole world....
Angel's Camp was a place where many life-changing events occured, surely if I hadn't made the trip out there years ago, so inncently stumbling across one of the craziest things in the universe, I wouldn't be where I am today.

It is the place where my current journey first started. I will never forget the memories I have there. The stars, the swimming hole, the mind-blowing music, so many unforgettable experiences. For me personally it is the best party spot. It is certainly one chapter that has come to a close. To this day my concept of the ideal party is one similar to the Goa Gil hodowns that took place there.

I sure miss the place and all the people I danced with.
Thanks to everyone who was a part of those special memories. I sent out all my spirit over there that night. I hope everyone had a memorable time.
