Goa is Dead!!!
Some dj's that play mp3 of goa tracks doesn't making it alive.
A goa festival is impossible because there is no goa artist today, no one makes goa today, the few goa artists that left making full on or progressive, and they won't play their old tunes (remmeber Loopus in Fabula and Cosmosis here?).

i'm sorry Or, but i dont remmember that u ever got 2 the Ping-Pong party with Loopus,
& he gave a great loopus in fabula set, most of the ppl didn't know how to react with this kind of music.
& if u want to hear some good goa music from now days, then try Filteria - beutiful goa sounds.
& i talked with old acts like sandman & mfg, & sure they will play a retro set, just if u ask nicely... 
the goa genere is might b dead for some pplz,
but u cant kill the goa genere for me, as i see it, its alive & kicking.
& we do NOT play mp3'z. its lame man...
only positive thinking, BooM.

and this idea about a festivel of goa music its great you can mix between goa and finland and to enjoy good music!!
and for or you have some artist that play goa music like ,toi doi ,filtria,stres factor,o.o.k and texes faggott play goa tunes and you a lot of goa dj will play a retro set so what do you talking about???
and some dj who dont come to a party that they supused to play cant tell me that goa music is dead!!! |

Ok, first of all, yap i didn't come to Loopus, my ride canceled and i informed Ishay that i can't come cause i didn't catch the organizers in the phones and asked him to inform the organizers i won't come (I wasn't at the Cosmosis party too which doesn't mean i can't give it as example).
And from what most of the ppl in that party told me they didn't like the music because it was the new tunes of him (which are quite progressive) and not the old funky ones.
Plus artists such as sandman and MFG, i don't recall them playing in a party here for years (correct me if i'm wrong). And those artist might play retro because its their only music, but artists such as Manmademan, Total Eclipse, Etnica wouldn't play their old good tunes cause they want to play their new ones (aspecially for publishment).
And Yoni i don't believe all of the djs play wavs i doubt they got every goa or suomi track they played in an original cd.
And for regular djs playing goa, i play goa too sometimes but i don't call myself a "keeping the goa vibe alive" dj. I don't say its not good, contrary, i would love to hear goa style at parties, but there is a long way from listen to goa trance than keep it alive, because its dead for 5 years allready.
And Texas and OOK maybe very influenced by the goa style but there are far far from the ectually pure goa tunes, they are pure suomi.

the concept of this thread is a 604 festival in israel, wich i think that its a great idea, or - if u dont like the idea, dont b there, & u wont b there anyway.

No one fights here, this is just a legit arguement.
and the idea of a goa festival is good but quite imaginary, this is not the first time someone thinks about it, but its just never be like it used to be at the past thats all, not even close unfortanetly
