Kaiafas Festival 2004 from 23-26 of July in Greece!!!

The Kaiafas Festival will take place at Kaiafas Beach,that belongs to the municipality of Zaharo Ilias,from Friday evening the 23 of July 2004 till Monday morning the 26 of July 2004.
Kaiafas Beach is the biggest sand beach in Europe,awarded with a blue flag by the European Union,and belongs to the municipality of Zaharo Ilias located 40km from the city of Pirgos and 20km from the ancient city of Olympia.The exact festival location and its camping are 200m away from the beach and 100m away from Kaiafas Lake.
You can access the area of the festival directly from the centre of Athens by car (3 hours) by bus (4 hours) or by train (5 hours).Our foreigner friends can use Eleutherios Venizelos Airport (Athens) to arrive from their countries and then use private or public transportation to arrive directly to the festival area.
The ticket will be 60 euros at the door of the festival.For tickets reservation people will need to sent an e-mail on tickets@kaiafas-festival.com with their full name and passport or identification number in order to reserve their tickets for the event.

From my little experience with Greek Festivals very very few people attend the chill out stages.
A chill out stage would be nice but i dont think that is one of the major concerns of a festival at least in our country.
Anyway its the organisers that take these decisions so when the site will be up e-mail them and push them to have a chill out stage hehe.

...well, I have to agree with CHP, such a festival (remember its 3 whole days) in such a place requires a chill out area. It is a major omission!
You don't have to have huge names or anything, just some nice chill out / ambient music nearby the beach to relax to. Plus, I don't think you are right DETOX, I think it would be very popular! Who can endure banging psytrance for 3 days non stop?
of course I'll be there anyway, but I will email the organisers about this (and I hope everyone else will as well) as soon as the site is up

Also one more thing I would like to say. I really hope that this will be a decently organized party (and by that I mean facilities and showing respect to all the music lovers that will join). I was at the Twisted Records/Tribe of the Frog party in London last month and I was utterly amazed by how perfectly organized the whole event was. It was made by music lovers for music lovers and you could honestly tell.
Miles ahead of everything I have ever seen in Greece...
Anyway, I really hope we will all have a wonderful time!!

Give us a chill out stage...I don't think like det. said that ppl want aTTend the stage....All of us need it as an alternative choise and as a meeting place, where ppl could communicate ,get to know each other...relax...!
Ofcourse that means, the ticket price will be higher than now,,but we all can save some money...

thank you guys and specially you detox.i hope you will make a good and safe festival.you have our love respect and suport.PS:why dont you bring x-dream vs midimiliz instead of marku's set,and please bring 4-carry nuts i can pay their fee! |
