From die-hard NYC tribe looking to escape the skyline (but still can't get ride of all MAYA)
Anybody from NYC interested in joining us, here is our flight details We got both tickets for 89$ including tax, however now going ticket is $124 while coming back is still $89.
Option-1
Date Flt Depart Arrive Stops
21 Sep 06 1085 New York, JFK 4:40pm Charlotte, NC 6:40pm 0
25 Sep 06 1082 Charlotte, NC 06:00am New York, JFK 07:50am 0
We are renting a Van from Charlotte airport and can accommodate couple of more (Budget is having the cheapest deal if u looking for your own. SUV with all tax total $156 for 4 days)
Option-2
Other option is come with another group from NYC leaving Friday evening from LGA to Charlotte and back from Charlotte on Sunday evening.
Option-3 & 4
Couple of rides still available with friends driving from NYC to Deerfields. One leaving Wednesday night and other Thursday night.
Your own Option
Use www.kayak.com to find air deal. You can get Greyhound from Charlotte to Asheville and we will arrange pick up from Greyhound Asheville. I did same for WorldBridge this summer. Greenville can be good option too.
We will have one hotel room with wireless internet connect 12 miles from Deerfields all 3 days as I will be ‘on call’ for my work (just stand by). So anybody needed to work remotely on Friday using internet like me & my friend can contact too.

Rain Shmain. No hiding in your tents friends. its only water once you are completely wet, you dont have to worry about getting wet anymore. And for those who have a melting condition theres alway those lovely ponchos. Weather forecasts are never reliable though. So dont fret.

so now just 2 days before the end of an amazing (really wet) summer. with the acception of tdc picnic glitch i've had an amazing time at all the parties, festivals, after parties, after festivals, before and in betweens its been great. now again we are able to one last time (this year)shake the ground at deerfields, and shake it we will!! i expect to see everybody vibrating so that when you bump into someone on the dance floor you will just go right through them. at that point you will know that "there is no spoon".hopefully we will have this one weekend of madness without the sky raining down on us, but in any case i will not forget this time at least to bring every kind of rain accesary. while i stand in the rain with my raincoat and umbrella and boots etc. i will very pleased with myself that i actualy remembered all this stuff. however after a few minutes i imagine that i will strip it all off and start runing around crazily and getting soaked which is also realy fun. in all it will be an adventure no one will ever forget and i hope to c u all in the orchards!!! BOOM!!!

Is anyone from the Philly area going to the festival in Asheville this weekend? I would love to go but need to carpool with someone. I live in Phoenixville but can meet someone even as far south ad DC if need be. I don't have a car to drive to NC and flying is way to expensive into Asheville.
