Shanti really impressed me, I heard some of his tracks, but it was my first party with him spinning...all I say is that "Shanti, you're the man!". His set was nuts.
Knob played a excellent full on set, some of the big hits like Sneaky Sneaky and I Wish remix.
Etnica played a good set, I saw people dancing like crazy, not much my style though...

Thanks Alladin for the great party, great club, very nice psy-deco, the party was a blast!!

I guess I am going to rain on the parade. I didn’t think the party was very good. I am so surprised to hear people liked Juvenile. No one else thought his style was bad? His mixing was fine, but his track selection was the worst. It was like full-on clubby psy-trance. One track I felt like was even diva-house. He ruined the party for me… On a positive note, Knob was really great. It was like his coming-out party! I am just amazed at how good he has gotten. I think the party proved Knob is the best east coast psy-trance DJ. Every time Knob plays he just gets better and better. God, I loved the last two songs -- I was in HEAVEN! Protoculture’s “Silicon Sunrise” (or maybe “Refractions” I was messed up so it is hard to remember) and California Sunshine’s “Rain.” And the way he mixed Astral Projection’s “People can Fly” was mint. Etnica was good, a definite improvement from Juvenile. I was really happy to hear Etnica finally come on. Was Black Buddha even there? Also, no one got a free CD like promised….
My girlfriend’s car window got smashed and her stereo was stolen -- I don’t think we will be going back to that venue anytime soon. So everyone be careful in the future!
