No, you are a joke. Psy-trance found its way to South Africa in the mid-1990s – coming from a delicate background, we are very open to, and accepting of all cultures and are proud of how far we have come as a developing nation in a relatively new democracy. In Cape Town, with the skyline dominated by our famous Table Mountain, we have an extremely eclectic and friendly bunch of trancers, which creates a great vibe at the parties. There is a good following locally and it is common to get 6000 people at bigger outdoor festivals. The scene has spread to the cities of Johannesburg and Durban, but Cape Town remains the place to visit if you love psy.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hooooo ha ha ha he he *cough* ha
Well, not really that funny, but your tenacity deserves a giggle.
I think you'll find that the people up north have been grooving to psychedelic beats for just as long as our friends in the shadow of the mountain, if not longer. But what does it matter really, a good party is really up to you in the end. Having partied in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Knysna and even a small bash up in Hogsback I can say from personal experience that there's good stuff all-round, each with a different flavour, music-wise and location-wise. This is not a contest and you'd be naive to think so.
Have nice day now.

No Prob. dont know about that gig
Pretoria born and raised half my live here and other half in Cape. (moving back and foward to separated parents).
Arrived last week in Canada and making plans for staying permanent. you won't believe how uptight the embassy is with SA residents.
anyways, much more secure place for me and the wife to start a family,, worlds apart from what you get in joburg.
