I had an awesome time!! The deco was awesome.. Divine Balance was def. my favorite set of the night!! you were awesome, the room filled right back up again when you came on.. The paintings were incredible, and that was one of the best places to have a chill room. I look forward to visiting there again..

Does anyone know what happened downstairs around 2-3, because they locked us out of CoSM, and we were just standing there with all these cops and doorpeople, and people fighting, and they were telling us we couldn't go back in.. It was a bit scary lol, but also histerical..

Thanks for an awesome party!

Thanks Dan.

What was going on was that some people were stuck in the elevator and the fire department came to get them out. Hope you didn't have too much trouble with it...

ive been meaning to comment all week, but work and blah blah blah you know how it goes... anyways...
this party straight up fkn rocked.
i was so glad to have been there and to have been a part. cosm is amazing. theo, scott, ben, you guys are all on top of the game!
great deco from orbicles, ziatrance, and sonic beating, among others. interesting visual projections by dave tennant.
i had a good set i think, sorry if it wasnt perfect enough. what can i say? the floor seemed to appreciate the tunes. thanks for everyones great feedback, thanks to everyone who danced and screamed during my set, i couldnt have done it without you.
lemurians and phasephour had impressive sets! love the new material from both of you.
shai, once you sort out the traktor details, i bet youll be unstoppable. good to see you again dahling.
great chillout in the chapel from eldarlife, pedro and pete....
delicious foods as usual from the gorgeous miss liz and river.
i had some good talks with alex and allyson grey and bonded further with the mirrors and the space and the people...
so wonderful to see so many friends and smiles and people getting down hard!

UTMOST thanks to 28th day productions for thier professionalism and most of all for manifesting such a wonderful event that will surely go down in my book as one of the best trance parties ive been to in nyc in years. er, ever.
sorry i missed lots of the afterparty, and apparently my chance at spinning again, sleep was more important at the time.
but ill be back soon.
boom nyc
you dont stop!

Sorry this has taken me so long...

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this event, from the artists, to those who helped out with deco, to the vendors, to the space... and especially to all my trancer friends who came through at the last minute to help us staff the door and coat check. You guys all rock!

I'd also like to thank the people I worked with on this: Scott, Ben, this event would never have happened without you guys. 28thday/light-o-matic solidarity!

Like most others, I was super happy with how this event came off, and I think I can speak for all of us on the crew that we are psyched to carry that energy forward to the next one... boom

yes, success!!!

i was so honored to be a part of this event, it was truly a magickal evening. parties like this one remind me that this scene this culture is about so much more than *just* the music. everything fell into place so nicely...

congrats to theo, ben and scott for pulling this one off. already looking forwards to the next one

cheers.

Nice to hear so many positive reponses.

I too thought the party was great.

I realise on looking back at my earlier post i think that i was a little 'out-of-line' and sounding like a 10 year old kid who did not get enough candy at a birthday party. So i apologise.

I too went there to have a good time and mannn DID I EVER! It was a great show -- I look forward to hearing you Monkey at the Touch Samadhi event in Feb -- and Divine Balance too.

And the forests at the back of the DJ -- I too thought that was insane!           ToO mUcH pReSsUrE oN tHe BrAiN

hahah .. methinks you found enough candy at the birthday party, good buddy .. well, not quite candy ..

sorry to come off sounding like im nitpicking, mr. monkey, your set was actually incredible - its just that i know and love the tracks you were playing (the selection was kinda insane) so tended to get a tad judgemental about some of the mixes .. ( the entire - oh i would do it differently scenario ) .. nonetheless, a smashing opener for the rest of the night ..

seriously though organizers - IS THERE ANY FEEDBACK on whether this venue could be used in the future for a similar event .. ?

clean, open, wooden space with mind melding art in the back room, and in the city !           paagal power ..

We're already planning something really good for that.. it's in the works! But have to be judicious about it.. we cannot turn the place into party central. We have to have respect else it will just get burned out like some other spaces have been. But beleive me it is something that will happen

Yeah.. light-o-matic is right. IMO, we should keep that place to be special. The more we use the place for parties, the less we appreciate it...
