wooooooof.... Good to know I'm still alive!!! hehe The party was pretty nice, imo. The people were very cool as always. The place was simply amazing!!! But the sound clipping was annoying... Except that, I have nothing to complain. 
Thank you very very much for making this happened! I especially would like to thank the girl wearing white mesh shirt.. I don't know who you are but you definitely made me smile and dance! hehehe  |

I was very pleased with the place the people everything at this party except the given issues clipping and heat this evening yeilded much more than a dacing good time for me sorry i know I said I was gonna get social but I was busy having a deep coversation with my soul for the majority of the night and the dot at the bottom of the exclamation point was walking a block up after the party and encountering a garbage bag full of dirt like material on fire in the street right next to a fire hydrant this was just bizarre but It was a good ending note. I was VERY pleased with the volume loud enough you couldnt hear your feet stomping but quiet enough you could walk away without hearing damage if it were louder those crisp lemurian tearing noises would never have sounded so amazing they would have just been noise at this volume the texture of each of the sounds was very evident |

Thanks to the promoters for a great party. The location was amazing- thanks for having them open up the gallery so we could see the artwork!!!!
I really have no complaints at all- in fact the absence of alcohol was beautiful, as i didn't have meatheads shoving me and stepping on my feet while i was dancing
There was one poor girl who was trashed, and kept falling down near me- i'm glad she didn't get injured.
I thought the volume was fine, and those thai coconut milk things were delicious!!!!!
Thanks again to everyone involved, and to all the beautiful people there who made this such a good time!! I hope to see more events at this location in the future.

Thanks everyone. I'm just getting home from the afterparty.. and I'm tired...
But since it's my sound system and I was running things, I will give you some quick answers about the sound.
1) The sound "clipping" was not the sound system at all, it was a problem with the software on the artists laptop which they tried very hard to work out. Unfortunately this problem kept coming back during the Lemurians set. So he finally switched to CDs and played a really great (I thought) set. PhasePhour had the laptop pretty much working for his set.
2) The sound system was just about as loud as I wanted it to be. We were a little limited by the A.C. power that was available in the space, but I didn't really want to turn it up that much more anyway... It was loud -and- clear, which is what I wanted!

Yea both those guys are totally great. Really nice too.
It is too bad about the Lemurians live set but he played a really good DJ set. The PhasePhour live set was kick-ass

Of course this was a beautiful party, it was thrown by beautiful people!

But anyway we enjoyed the party alot of good people and what a venue nice nice

fine, evryone has been telling me to get on this site, so here i am. the party was...psychadelic, hopefully there will be more in the same place. i have not slept yet, unfortunatly i had to go to work right after it was over, how was the afterparty?

the string art pieces were displayed well! i like the organic quality of the geometry--they didn't look like they were mapped by a computer. this added to its painterly quality. that said, i think they were way too small. in one piece i noticed that the strings were layered so heavily that the piece itself became about the strings and not about the geometry. looked like a thick wad of intertwined strings instead of elegant hypnotic lines. go bigger and you'll avoid this problem i think.
the huge string art above the dancefloor was fun. and the draped fabric that was used as a backdrop for the video projections was trippy as hell. at one point i looked over and saw multiple layers of 9 feet tall faces. really bugged out stuff.  |

man oh man .. what a night ..
muchos gracias to the organizers, mithun n sahil, n of course - the smashers phase phour and the knight of lemuria ..  btw, you're right, mr. lemurian - people really do covert all their troubles to energy on the floor ..
blue spectral played a decent set, though his mixing was all over the place ..  going from friday to monday with no weekend in between - man, u can throw on scott on cofee and the like but its gotta flow .. n the mix out of devenir cosmos .. hmm, oops ? it felt like a bit of a mashed potatoes set, though the odd smasher and his mad jumping made up for any lulls on the floor .. 
alex grey as an intermission - my god! the man sees the world through some very intense lysergic vision .. ! wow .. that's all i can say ..
the lemurians set, despite the initial problems, was freakin incredible .. not a single smear of cheese .. well, white stripes .. hehe, but that was still crazy fun .. tearing yet deep baselines, completely swinging psychedelic sounds that just kept the floor thrashing through out ..
the phasephour set was absolutely beautiful .. the progression was flawless, just an ascending riot of psychedelia .. mann no need to be sorry , you guys made up for any technical difficulties with some really great sets ..
and then to finish it off, came aunty psychedelia .. no idea who she was, the laptop mixing was not greatly appreciated nor was the incessant tweaking of bass and treble in an attempt to create some energy on the floor, but definitely some thrashing morning music, really kept the flow going in the morning .. i suppose she couldnt resist the urge to throw roop suhana on in the morning .. . heheh .. and singing along as well heehee .. it was all quite entertaining .. walked out to a few snowflakes .. or so i thought .. who knows ?
all in all, thank you organizers - that was a monstrous night of psy - two FANTASTIC artists and a great venue ... here's hoping for repeats .. !!
