well, at last a party i can call close to home.
got there at about 18:30, which was way too early, cause up till about 20:00 there was only chillout. the place was nice, with rows of trees (a pardes) and a small clearing.
the first dj, don't know who he was, gave full-on from the beginning, making a little dust rise into the air. people who were mostly good people were stomping, and then at about 23:00 blt went up with the drummer, in my opinion, the drummer just hinders blt's set (this is the second time i see drummers with him after the haldolium party months ago), sometimes the drums were so loud comparatively that a lot of the track's sounds just aren't heard and that's a shame.
anyway, yuli played his new album mostly, but the problem was that everyone were fueled on full-on only to drop to a nightish pace, which for me at least (and a few other people) was just not right, and so after a few proddings from certain elements, we departed at about 23:30.
all in all, nice to see a nice little party so nearby (near the yarkon junction). both djs weren't that good imo (yuli i like your album, but it just didn't fit in its time slot), people were nice, but my main problem, was weed shortage, it's been hard but i managed without           Super-teen extraordinaire Freakazoid! well - a rather small party , about 100 ppl or less .
we arrived at the end of omi's session - as good as allways , just in time 4 yuli and the drummer , i must agree that at some times the drummer was louder then yuli but all in all i liked it a lot - was nice to hear yulis new albom with the drums addition.
after yuli came nadi with a rather slow night session and we left a bit afterwards.
a nice way to close the weekend.
pitty there was no decoration or anything of a sort - could help build up the vibe.
and now its time to sleeeeeeeep

people!
"the drummer" you're referring to is Danny Makov, one of Israel's top drummers, who played with many artists in all the music styles from "Nikmat Hatraktor" to "Astral projection"
I just had to clear that up

and itay... its not the same drummer that we heard in izi party in binyamina that other time...           I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

Well I have some things to add:

First sorry for all these that didn't get the show level of previous live sets - especially those made in Beer Sheva ( Baraka & Q clubs ) - we experienced some problems with the new configuration of the live and also there were some problems with the PA which made the sound less homogenic than it usually is.. I believe that this show has lots of potential adding human element and is actually what the scene sometimes lacks - human touch ( which includes our mistakes as well )

So bom to all those who came and have a good week

The set @ the lake in Benyaminaw consisted of DJ Nadi and me DJ'ing back to back and two drummers escorting us - one of them is Danni Makov ( that now we work together with the live as u know it ) and the other one is Didi ( from the 'Girafot' if u know the group ). Needless to say that the show back then the drummers didn't know the set too well and also couldn't prepare themselves cuz when I DJ I cannot predict my set b4 I play it as it comes from the dance floor as it comes from my gut... Nowadays Danni is familiar with each and every track in the live set and moreover, we make remixes for most of the trax to make him fit better and to make solo parts for him that do not exist in the released material

Bom Bom

** one thing to add - big Bom to grandpa Nadi that like a good ole red wine gets better and better with his tasty tunes           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

nadi - u probebly didnt expect me to remember dani's name straight after the after -did u? ( u saw the way i looked)
and for the set - those that know u and love your music has one thing to say to you my friend - "domo" arigato (-;
yuli - one more time - besides small problems with adjusting you and dani's outputs - it was awsome - and the human fector is accepted for its advanteges and disadvanteges.
again - like after every party u playd in - the question is - when is the next time?
btw - where is omri in all this?
a personal thank you to a graet man with graet music - omi u rockkk

hey all
well... dont know about u but i realy enjoyed the music that played throughout the night ... yes their were some parts i thought didnt fit in (cause i like diffrent sounds) but all in all was an amazing music experience for me i especally enjoyed the first set whom ever gave it (between 1830 - about 2030 ) it was very slow growing but still very interesting and finished with a great track )
had a rocking time only one thing was bad for me at that party ) and thats cause i probably danced too hard and i tore my pants to realize at the end of the party that my underware are showing )) (sorry to all that had to see that awfull sight )
in conclusion exellent party may there be many more like this ...           i think it is the mind's right to die befor the body, but alas it is the body who is stronger in its will to perish...

well I didnt hear this set but I heard the one in binyamina. even if he's one of israel's tops - it sounded like each track had the same drums sequence and that ruined most of the tracks. I think it's very hard to match live drums to trance tracks and also to make it different than each other. anyhow its been a while since binyamina so maybe it sound a lot better now
