hello all laughing freaks....
i have a little thing i need to get of my heart...
...well as some of know im making a page for all artists in Aarhus DK (grapes-insane-jahbo-mussy....)
..for this page i need to put on some music bits offcouse...and a few weeks ago.. alot of peoble contacted me on icq... werry nice peoble indeed.. they where all werry interrested in our music..and that is offcourse werry nice...they all asked if i would send them some..and becouse im making the album.. i had to say no...but they could hear some of the bits i was going to put on the homepage,,, i thought "well its gonna be on the page anyway so..."..
last night i looked in my mail, and there was a mail from one of these guys, telling me,,, "i played the three minuts of your track and it rocked the floor"..(u know who u are!!)
i was ready to book a flight, and come bitchslap him myself.....i was so furries, that i was looking for his phone number so i could call him....and tell him that he suck...
Some of u may think "why so mad?"..then i will tell u...this is disrespect of the worst kind, i personally told him that the track s not all finnished that i need the final ajustments to complete it..
it was just to satisfy his mind undtil he could get the music...but this wassent enough for him...
i was trying to be a nice baba, and he diddent care..he just wanted to say that he got the new Aarhus sound,,... now ive come to the conclusion that i will never give away not even a little bit of a track.. anymore
I saw some of these guys having it on there top 10 2... i mean come on, WHY?? is this scene so much about "who is what? and what is he?".. if yes,,, im imbaresed*... i really am...i dont understand...
I hope any of u , can understand my lack of tolerance...and my fustration, that u understand that this give me a sad sad heart....well i just needed to get it out i guess..

Hey man, I understand why you’re so frustrated, but once you put it on your site and allow other to download it, you cannot come with complaints after that.
Sorry for being so harsh. I totally understand your frustration, but you shouldn’t have put any of your music on the net.
You know how big this mp3 / downloading scene is. You know how hard it is to keep tracks off the net, so the minute you – the artist itself – put it there you cannot complain.
You were naïve, next time I’m sure you will not do the same mistake again.

I understand what U mean, Bobo, unfortunately..
I think they are victims of the "I want everything right nOw" Syndrom of our society..... so much based on "appearance" ... -Yeah I am HYPE-
Television IMO is one of the big responsible of this really shitty situation... We are trapped, even unconsciously. Of course sometimes I skid too and generaly after I feel somehow not very good.
Anyways... playing about 3 minutes only of a track is a bit misused !!
And I hope that U won't stop being a 'nice baba' for this

listen i was not naive.. To put a bit of a track on your web-page, so peoble can hear what the page is all about is NOT naive..the naive thingking here is done by the guy who took the track and played it. it was naive of him to think that he could get repect for this....
and if u have to put everything in perspective..
in the end of the track he`s got,,, there is a sample saying "DEMO DEMO i f u play this u suck"
im just saying,.. its fantastic that peoble dont care..

This seems really strange....playing a -clip- one downloads off the net.
Curious what bitrate this was in (mp3's generally sound like snot to my ears on a big system).....either way this seems like pretty bad form on the part this fellow.

well, i realy dont know any Dj that plays 3min mp3 demo, so i just can imagine what kind of a Dj this guy is... preaty lame.
dont let this issue bring u down, and dont make it a reflection of the whole scene.
sure, it can make u jump out of ya skin. but i believe that u are here for the ppl that do care about the music.
so like kako said... dont stop beeing a nice baba Bcoz of this thing.
every day im gettin` more involved in this scene and get to meet alot of ppl, and im telling ya that finding honest and nice ppl, unfortunatly is damn rare.
so just keep on doing what u believe in man.
ppl who do care will appreciate it.

Agree with Yossi...its f****g hard to find honest people in the scene, but I am sure there are still some! Anyway...more than half of the people at this scene will say that they are Djs!
Are they?
Dont spend your nrg like that...they dont deserve it man, although you are right!

That's mighty peculiar... but then again I'm not suprised at how low some people can get. In any case, its generally the nature of the DJ thing that the crowd won't have a clue what they're playing anyhow... in fact, I can't really think of anyone other than myself that makes a specific point of compiling play lists and distributing it to people that went to a party (for obvious reasons I hope - I'd rather the artists get credit for the good music)... so really, its too bad to hear about this and I wish you strength in the face of this moral miasma that seems to have enveloped a significant fraction of the worldwide trance community... keep making the music you love, and good luck.

i wouldn't let it get you down. sounds like you just pick wrong person to give a sample to. i mean, what kind of DJ would play a sample?
*shrug*
then again, i myself am very hesitant when it comes to sending people my own music. it's a trust issue. i definately don't want my stuff being traded around the internet.

Can someone explain to me what the big deal is? Its three minutes out of a party that lasted a couple of hours. Do you think that people recognized your track or something like that and now they are thinking "oh wow, that Insane Behaviour guy really sucks, did you hear that track of his they put on? I'm never buying any of his music again!"
Sorry but I just don't understand why you are so mad, how exactly will this hurt you or your reputation?
