Mother of my favourite league, the italian serie A which has produced the most number of teams at a european cup final, in total Italian clubs have reached the final of the competition on a record of twenty-five different occasions, winning the title eleven times
Updating of this will be on from now, Tranfer related news will be put on this thread by me, and i wish you all to do the same and bind the records to kick start the season in august.

Juventus have formally announced the end of transfers for them this season indefinately although, Clarence Seedorf is in talks with juventus after ronaldinho's arrival.

Indeed one of the most boring leagues,Serie A is not what it used to be ten years ago.
Ganapati although i support Sampdoria my money would go again on Inter not because they have such a good team but mainly because there is noone that can challenge them at the moment in Italy.Roma again no transfers as usual,Milan they signed useless Ronaldinho when with these money they could sign 3 young players so that they can refresh their team,Fiorentina will sell Mutu probably so they will loose one of their key players and Lazio just cant challenge for the title.Finally Juventus is still recovering and they will need couple more years before they challenge Inter for the championship.

Italian league sucks donkey...who gives a flying f*ck about them anyway???
The doping, cheating, catenaccio, violence and corruption ended with the popularity of this, back in the day, amazing league.
I remember the Sampdoria 90/91, Milan, Gullit, Pier Luigi Casiraghi, Gaetano Scirea, Falcao, Maradona...It was fantastic.
Perfect example on how to do things very, very bad indeed.
Compare the income of this worthless shite with the Premiership or the spanish La Liga.

and yet world champions came out of this "horrible" league..
and allow me to add that the best coaches in the world coach in SERIE A...that some of the best world talents play in SERIE A, and some of the most passionate fan support is in SERIE A...
doesnt sound all that bad.....

and let me me add with special reference to the very rich but poor english....:
serie A (and you are right in saying that all the scandals destroyed the reputation and the quality of the league.....this is undeniable) is still the only league where tactical football is being played......where teams move like a team, where attackers are not left alone to score easy goals, where phenomenoms like kaka, pirlo, ibra, totti, etc still manage to get frequently blocked by defences (actually the more they play the more they get blocked), where coaches still teach football as it was a tactical sport and not an arcade game being played at the computer.
compared to spanish and english leagues, yes we have less speed, more falling down for no reason (and i think this is what needs to be stressed and stopped fast), and sometimes less goals.....
but we are playing football....the other are scoring in a net and putting on a show....a
and people,before criticising....you need to have been at the top.....top as you need to feel how it is to win a world cup......the joy, the passion.....
you need to make 3 finals of the champions league in the past 6 years.....and two semifinals.....
in the last 20 years 6 italians teams won the champions, 5 spanish, 3 english.....dont get angry.....we win only using catenaccio......ah ah!!!
....maybe is because people dont give a flying fuck about winning??
soo concluding: yes you play faster, yes you are fair sportsman, and yes you are getting much richer.....but yes, we play better football and wont end up being bought off by stupid non national billionaries who dont know better ways on how to recycle money....
and ronaldinho (who no one knows how he will play....) chose italy and not the shitty manchester city.....proving that money is not everything in life....the lets comment the decisions after we see him in action with Pato at the olympics...

It's funny how people can try to camouflage horrible, unbareable, unwatchaable, horrific, utterly boring football under the term "tactics".
Dead horse dude, national team is a completely different matter, which I don't give a f*ck about, there are no teams I support at a national level...only teams I hate or respect and again...I'm not english you tarts!!!
I don't care that much about winning, I appreciate art, and the italian league, except some Roma action every here and then, has fuck all of that to offer.
And read my first sentence...who gives a flying f*ck about your league...who's watching that piece of shit???
Compare it not only with FA Premiership and La Liga, now they're losing, in the TV war...now that you care so much about winning, against any other league that doesn't make your eyes bleed.

for ex: henry scoring 25+ goals (with back heels etc) was because the defences in england (or spain) are shit!!...this is not football to me...tap in goals isnt either: goalkeepers mistake if it is in the small box, or defender mistake the rest of the time.
we (as seria a) spend double the time in training learning tactits...look at the english national team, with capello, moaning like a little baby (like you) about the hardcore training methods etc....yeah, its difficult to learn a defensive diagonal (probably you dont even know what it is...) at the age of 30....and its not only about defensive tactics....but these are the ones they lack the most....
so if you want to talk about football, talk football....not about your sadomasochistic desires for being on the losing side or not having a national team to support!

You're mising the point...I've never said, not once, italian football is not football...or not valid, nor that their players don't know how to defend..., or that italians don't know about art...that would be plain silly, like trying to beat a relentless wall when playing tennis, all I say, out loud btw, is that the italian league is a disgrace to watch, it's not only me...check your satellite channels abroad to see which channel is showing that vomit, nobody is interested, is going downhill, as simple as that.
And I'm not having a logic argument about it, I'm taking the piss demeaning something you're proud of, I'm laughing out loud.
