anybody knows some infos about this party?
because some friends of mine will stay in New York this date and they want to know some details like place, price and others.....

No one will really go to this party. Tsunami has screwed people over and over again, people are just sick of them.
There is another 24-hour party on NYE in Brooklyn that will feature a lot of local DJs and most people are going there. I advise you to go to that party too if you would like to know what the NY scene is about. Peace! |

I don't agree that "no one" will be going to this.
Come on, Sesto Sento, Xenomorph and Double Dragon. Need I say more?
Tsunami is run by a very smart man. He knows how to throw parties and he knows how to make sure he doesn't lose his pants in the process. I have been to two Tsunami parties and they were both very good and very crowded.

OK, let me clarify my comment. I fully respect the artists involved in this event. In addition, this will be the only party in new york with an international line-up for New Years. It will also feature primarily full-on sets.
Now, the other party will feature local DJs and a greater variety of psy trance styles with a progressive and full-on floors. I saw Noma in the same space last week and I can assure you it is pretty nice. At some point, any respectable trance scene has to become self-sustaining. Maybe now's that time for the new york scene, we'll find out soon.
My comment about few people showing up at the Tsunami event was based on opinions expressed on new-york based mailing lists. Granted that I have not performed a scientifically significant survey, I can't tell with any certainty how many people will really show up at each event.
I wish a great time to everybody who is going to a trance party in new york for new years', regardless of which event they attend. There's been enough negative vibes floating around in new york, my last wish is to reinforce such attitudes.

This party is actaully organized by Home of Trance, and a little side help by Tsunami, but mainly it's a Home of Trance event, and it's going to be wild...
