I'm pretty sure Otto The Barbarian isn't Ott..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

I really like Juno Reactor, some of the best trance I've heard... some very original and varied tracks. My favourite album of them is "Beyond the Infinte".

It's cool that they are still making music. Hopefully I will be able to hear them live some day, pure live with 12 people on the stage.           Ut ameris, amabilis esto.

But remember that no one that i know of can tell me OTT's real name. I know OTT stops by here sometimes. But he would never tell us. Colin OOOD proberly knows too, but neither him or anyone else will tell us i guess.

'Ott' is a shortened version of his real name. For very good reasons he prefers to keep his full name out of public view, and I respect his wishes in this. As far as I know he has never gone by the name 'Otto the Barbarian'.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

As if Juno Reactor needs our attention. They are one of the biggest acts, if not the biggest one, on the huge Metropolis label which focuses mainly on industrial/gothic.
They kinda flow between a few genres, gained mass attention by their critically acclaimed contributions to the Matrix RL and Rev soundtracks and are generally acknowledged as one of the best electronic live acts.

Poor Juno Reactor indeed.

I don't know about the threads u r talking about but indeed Juno Reactor is one of the biggest projects in Electronica in general. They inspired a lot of other artists in the Psy-scene in general.
Unfortunately nowadays people listen to this music without knowing its history and background and we all see the results today...           Don't hope 2 much 4 something cause u may end up getting it...

to me, Juno Reactor will always remain a cornerstone in my musical development. ever since I've brought shango to my house my musical world took a tumbling. ever since I've heard Bible of Dreams, I was changed. this rarely happens to me (especially in trance music). the reason, I think, that that happened, was because Juno's music is profoundly more organic and realistic in a sense that they don't merely take the dancefloor issue and blow it out of proportion (like some artists do).
I Love Juno music. always have, always will.

I remember I saw in 1995 Mike Miguire of Juno Reactor saying "we're trying to push bondaries forward" in the trance scene. Trying to be innovative they helped to create goa and now psy. I miss that sense of freshness they brought back then. Artists shoulb follow their example and try to push the boundaries forward a little more.
BTW, Mike Miguire is about to release a new album in November. I wonder whan he and Ben Watkins are going to release another Juno Reactor album.

Peace and Love

I like Juno Reactor... I haven't heard a lot of them though, but just yesterday I was watching the Matrix Revolutions, and the track from Juno Reactor at the credits is just great. Need to hear some more like that...

I agree with Goblim, you need psy-sub-power to enjoy Juno reactor-Luc. That said, Juno reactors are one of the most influential trance/chill bands ever. And I think they are very well-known by committed trancer’s.           "Love is a way of life"
