if we started an isratrance web radio station, itd be a wicked way to get the music by producers off this forum ehard by loads of people..
we could have DJ sets by people from here, and live sets as well....
and you could even get some kind of sponsoring for it by ahving adverts or something...
the story would make it popular, because itd be a station run by people from several countries... a true international trance station...
is anyone esle behind me on this idea?
itd probably be abit impracticle to set up though |

Actually, you don't need that strong a connection to broadcast live on the internet. you can use a program used to upload the feed and your done... from there on all you need is a 56k modem and enough bandwith for the site so it can accommodate a large amount of surfers. of course, you'll need a place to store the equipment, somewhere safe which you need to lock down, make it acoustic, have enough equipment. that's the real pain. forget about internet connection, that's the least of the worries. one way to solve this, is have DJ's record live sets and have THAT uploaded as a DJ set. one each ranges from 1 to 3 hours and that way you don't need expensive equipment. |

In two months time i will have an DSL line (at least thats when it is supposed to be available in Greece)and i am willing to help in any way.I always like playing music anyway :) |

And we can have a top 10 competition every week, and those top 10 will be picked by a top trance artist/group(I believe isratrance have the right connections)......and so fuckin on...... |

hehe bring old dusty topic up 
well , now we all know we dont need T3 for stream radio , also isra got their own servers up 
so , how about web radio?
there will be way more then enough what to play:
new tracks submited here
dj sets submited here
promotional from labels
this can be alot of fun to the user and make the site and forum more intresting
another way can be to do it via some webradio that allready has quality control and bsed system and just add player here.. but i like independed freedom |
