Dunno if this has come up before, but here's the idea:
*Online set/sets (schizoid can help here) on a given weekend. possibly till sunrise
*Find a friend who's place you can trash for the weekend  (Note: Net connection mandatory, webcam would be sweet)
*Stomp away to glory knowing that someone somewhere is sending it to the same tune!
*could possibly setup party chat room and share webcams?

hmmm...It sounded like a good idea when I was hanging out with a few friends and stomping to some music at a friends place. But hey... silly ideas sound great when high

Maybe this idea could be sold with a cause or some such, something like the mumbai bust relief fund? Whatever happened to that I wonder (public memory is short)...
I guess it's too early for this... a few web searches reveal that the concept of online parties has been around for quite sometime. We still don't have the right technology I guess. I briefly worked on a project which aimed at making virtual conference rooms more realistic. That means, the person you are remotely talking with would virtually appear to be directly across your table(with no loss of scale or proportion). This setup required a customized conference room with some hi-fi digital projection system.
