Israeli vs. Scandinavian trance

could someone enlighten me as to why there are so many people who will only listen to either Israeli psytrance or Swedish trance? To me the difference between desert trance and forest trance doesnt seem to be that big. |

Mushroom trance Vs. Acid Trance? Forest Vs. Desert .. hmm.. I'll take both please 
I love old Isratrance (new sounds from Isreal isnt my taste) and I love the scando sound because its sooo nice and trippy.
Why choose when you can have both?

well there are many difreant trance coming out of both for example
i think that if someone like Jhabo(dk) he would rather here some Doof artist(il) the hering Phony Orphants(dk) and if someone like Phony Orphants he would rater hear some Parfect Stranger(il)
no body likes only one country music evryonr likes just what fits to there ears.
so ithink that youre perty wrong about it.
and there is trance coming from other countrys aswell!

well thats what I thought too until I struck up a conversation with a fellow DJ friend of mine. He said that most of his friends will spin either forest trance (which he referred to as trippy trance) or desert trance (goofy trance), but would never mix, say astrix and atmos in the same set. Personally I like anything that is produced well, but I was wondering if there was some rivalry like the Dnb vs. Happy Hardcore or something.... |

There is something about the root of each colture (acid blotters & E's coultur<--> mushrooms & pure l.s.d 25)... i must say i like the European style better as the technological backgrond is richer then in Israel, and its a fact!! In Israel most of our artists are the reslut of a 1st-2nd generation of a 3rd world country's immigration, so, you can't really expect hige level of intricacy and complexity in the music... but you will find "Haffla" style music and leading sounds for sure....(Haffla: traditional Arabic celebration)... In general: Trance music is a commercialization of acid music wich was invented in order to stimulate one's audio sensores in the ESR antena system...for that needed a very well made production by experienced people and it's a dynamic run. level...SHEEN |

I must say I like the psychedelic style the best.. and neither of these 2 really deliver that.. well obviously some but..

what is desert trance? about sweeden forest music i totally know...
and i really cant compare israeli psytranse with music producers from sweeden-Denmark or Filland 
till then ...
