Hello there,

At the moment I'm writing an essay about different aspects of the trance scene in israel and I would like to hear your opinion about it.
basicaly, my question is:
WHAT DO YOU THINK MAKES THE ISRAELI TRANCE COMMUNITY WHAT IT IS?

I mean, what is it in the israeli trance community that makes it different from other trance communities in the world (if you think there is a difference at all. if you don't think so, your opinion matters as well...)

So please, feel free to express your view on the issue.

Peace
Snow

p.s.
please, if needed, state in your reply whether your israeli or not and most important... keep it relevant!

for further information PM me...           Out Here We're Stoned....

i thinks we have alot of tention to dismental if its on parties or when producing!
some why i've noticed that europian trance been more advanced than isratrance in the fisrt 6,8 years since trance began... but latelly i think it ballanced.
another funny thing i've noticed that alot of israelies like europian trance while europian people really love isratrance!

well first of all dont forget that Israel is the place where it all begun.
in my opinion our scene is diferent then the other.
we have a huge flavor of artists and djs , that are playing diferent kind of music. of course abroad are great artists too and without them the scene wouldnt be the same.
mostly what makes it special is the location i mean my holyland Israel ,we have unique places for parties. also the crowd .im not talking about festivals where come many uninvited ppl (here we call them 'arsim'). i'm talkin bout underground parties, they are great ,the ppl , the envarment ,the location its all very special.
also our djs know what we like and do great music for us , for what i want to thank them.
also to all the djs and artists abroad.

keep on raving.

i think sometime u can catch a good vibe and im not bein negative...
im not sure in this scene to b community since it based on music and drugz not realy something that can keep us together (not when its speechless music ) when we wont listen to trance music.

i still hang with some of my friends that i have from punk scene which based alot about friendship and solidarity. now thats scene of lifestyle...

btw - israeli...

i think that the israeli trance is very profesional from one hand, but on the other hand its very unprofessional...

i'll explain: the trance scene in israel is profesional in making big parties and festival. (for the good and for the bad) but on the other hand simple things like-trance records shops (there is only one in israel) and trance merchandise we have very few...

thats an absord situation

What began in Israel?

I’ve never been there but almost everything mentioned in this thread is far from exclusive for Israel. Sounds like most countries with a developed psytrance scene. Not that Israel isn’t special, but the points you’ve made aren’t really exclusive for your country           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Well, I think I need to make my point a bit clearer:
Naturaly, in all the countries where there is a developed trance scene\community, you'll find the same basic concepts. after all it is one global scene.
BUT, imo there's a different "flavour" to the scene in different countries due to some local influences. this is relevant in Israel as much as it is in Germany, Brasil, you name it. it's just that, due to the nature of my essay, my main concern goes to Israel, and the unique attributes (if existing) of the local scene\community...

Again, thanx for the cooperation so far.

I think that Israel is a place were Trance is in the blood! In European countries people go through all kinds of music and then arrive to Trance in fact if you take music there are far more producers of different kinds of music in Aurope or other places than in Israel...The people and the music are since a long time growing in Israel and i see the people have a certain power to start and finsih something the way it should be and this is what makes your music and scene so special! I am big fan of israeli artists since long time and will be as long as they keep to produce music from the soul as they did and still do today!

Isreal made this scene big, so it is also natural that Isreal is making this scene to mainstream!?
