We don't really have festivals... but we do have loads of 10+ hour outdoor parties (at least 2 a weekend, except december-march), thursday nights in clubs, and a few trance nights in the other days of the week. TDE (Tribal Dance Experience) was a festival that was supposed to happen and didn't.

Beresheet (Genisis in English) festival had trance acts in the dance stage, with Astral Projection and Infected Mushroom as the headlining Israeli acts (Astral Projection's show was in the main stage), and with Joti and Son Kite among the live acts as well. This was not a trance festival, but it gave trance a big part in it, as other festivals do to a certain degree. But as seen in the (not-only-trance) festivals this year so far, this trend is probably going to vanish.

yea, as Kaz said - no trance festivals this year (after TDE was cancelled)

But if you come to Israel, i'm sure that people from the forum (including myslef) will be glad to get you some info on parties - and believe me, this time of year there are lots of parties!           MiniMAL cabron...

Boombamela isn't really a Trance festival, they just bring a few trance artists... this year they had Alien Project and Oforia as far i can remember...
and last year some guy called Chiko came with some speakers and some Deco and organized a 2 day party right on the beach near the camp site, but that wasn't part of the festival!

anyway, boombela is a very commercial event... not really a trance festival           MiniMAL cabron...

Munchie: I thought some guy called Ami from nizzanim organized it ... weird...this year it was there as well, but different organizer and a lamer party with a terrible strong uv ! haha
anyways, was hard to dance, it was some weird techno trance acid haha
Alien project rocked the dancefloor!!
in the beginning I was too stoned and I thought I won't go dancing, as well as I was afraid of the arsim problem, but when I passed through I couldn't help it, felt the bassline so hard in my heart (later it appeared to be my phone which vibrated 8 times haha) and it was really beautiful to see ppl who have never been to a trance party in their entire life hook up to sucha music
pluuus, met there ppl from previous parties, so perhaps the bombamela sucked this year but the trance always keeps it alive\bearable
Think trance- live longer! (not!!

Well last year i clearly remember talking to the guy who organized the party - some freaky dude called Chiko... At the beginning all they had was two mini discs and a lousy mixer, but then they brought some serious Equipment and it turned out to be a wicked party! in the end there were about 150-200 people dancing on the beach with the sunset in the background! beutiful...           MiniMAL cabron...

boobmamela is way more commercial then a trance festival! They had stands for Orange & Cellcom on the spot. And the prices of the food were outrageous! it don't get more commercial then that...

Freeman> i remember that Oma Coma Party... it was packed with Shimonim! but still i enjoyed myself...           MiniMAL cabron...
