Hi ladies and gents ,
some upto date info below as were about to start outputting music again.
Firstly best wishes and happy 2005 to everyone and lets hope its chills a little here on planet gong . . .
Ishq and Virtual news . . .
News wise we've a few things to highlight including the imminent launch of Virtual and a series of 3 albums to be released on Virtual.
Virtual

Virtual has taken up nearly 2 years of our time now. It started as an means to release the more unusual and deeper soundscapes we do which can be heard in tracks like 'Fluid Earth ' and ' Blue Haze ' on the dakini cd 2, but what began as a series of sessions for a single album has now spiralled. In the process of writing the first Virtual album we wrote 2 halves of the next Ishq album which then became 2 seperate albums aswell as a series of tracks played in San Francisco live . Things then spiralled further out of creative control and we are now left with 4 hours of music for Virtual completed and work is back underway on the 2 Ishq albums. "Why not just do one album at a time" .......we keep asking ourselves that question 
Release wise we have 3 albums on Virtual pretty much ready to be released but we will have to release them sequentially due to
economics etc. All being well they should appear over the next 2-3 months, maybe sooner. The first album is mastered and goes to press in a week or so.
Albums completed and to be released over the coming weeks and months are:
Vr01 Ishvara - Magic Square of the Sun (from ambient to undescribable )
Vr02 Elve - Infinite Garden (very Ishq-like but more micro-organic and melodic electronica )
Virtual is very much about releasing a finite number of copies and is a series of limited edition cds released directly by us to music lovers and collectors.
Virtual cd's will be limited between 500 and 1000 copies unless we win the lottery or discover Atlantis and tutankamoons gold . .
Virtual also has one or 2 other releases planned and the first of these is:
Vrx1 Thx1 - Virtual Worlds 1
This is first in a series of more abstract soundscape cd's, they could be described as 100% soundscapes and as virtual reality for headphones. At times very ambient and musical and other times like sitting on another planet. Due to their more obscure nature, they will be available in very short limited runs of 250-300 copies. They will be released under the code Vrx and the first one called ' Virtual Worlds 1' will be available fairly soon after the first 2 main Virtual releases .
All Virtual releases will have very comprehensive mp3 demos available which will highlight all the tracks on each album so you'll be able to listen to and get a feel for each release.
The next news mail we send out will be for Vr01 with the mp3 links .
Ishq ?
Since the release of Orchid Ishq as a project has been a little side tracked due to work on Virtual. We have been very busy though also writing new music as Ishq and work has been carrying on, in particular on 2 albums, one eastern flavoured and the other, being the next Ishq release, a rather unusual album of western alchemical inspired music which very much returns to the themes and energy of the tracks Yu and Daisy. Both albums are well underway and will follow on from Orchid in style and feel and its now the main focus for us creatively.
Matts also been busy starting collaborations with Matt Coldrick from 'Music from a busy head 'and an album is finished called 'Elemental' and should be out at some point .A deeper second album with Matt Coldrick is now in progress also.Another collaboration well underway is with Shulman and starting to take shape very nicely .Finally a collaboration has been underway for a while with Micheal martin from ' Indidginus ' as 'Open system ' and should at some point take shape in a release we hope.
Anyway that's enough for now.
Thanks again to everyone who supported us and all the kind words and feedback on Orchid and the various tracks released. Expect an outpouring of innerspace music soon including the next Ishq album and various Virtual releases and a few very interesting collaborations.

Really great news, but with this amount of music, do you want to bankrupt us? lol
The challenge of the year for me will be getting those Virtual albums and keeping them in the plastic until I get all of them and can listen to them all at once. Highly doubtful, but I am curious how long I can last.
Orchid is one of the greats. Really looking forward to this.

GREAT NEWS!
I enjoy the more experimental side of ISHQ like the Orchid CD2 (some moments of audio-holographic paradise for sure)... but am really hoping for more material in the spirit of "Yu", "bahkti" - and "Skyblue" for the rhythm.
the best compilation track, for me, is "Happiness". An incredible psychedelic LIFT and set opener. It brings total attention and hushed-silence - and gently opens up to infinite possibilities...
keep up the Great Work!

Thanks for all the positive feedback folks.Mp3 will be uploaded very soon , we'll be doing a reserve option for people so we will put copies by for folks once its available if people cant afford .We dont want to bankrupt anyone . . .
Regards more stuff like yu etc and the first or main orchid cd the next Ishq albums very much return to this style of music and feel
of yu etc . . thats what were working on now.Much much more 1st orchid cd stuff on the way . .
The house on the site? it isnt quite like thatin reality (i wish) and the landlord heres on our case right now but cornwall in the uk is a nice place to be for doing chilled stuff for sure. .

Just want to congratulate Ishq for the work he s been doing... really makes me fly
the orchild cd has given me very beautifull moments specially with bahkti yu and sol... and really cant wait for your new stuff
Also very good to see you r working with Shulman this must be great
As for your new projects good luck you deserve it

I have been waiting for these for over a year now, and they are so close to my cd-players now... just a little more waiting Ishq sounds really unique, nothing I've found can compare to its elegant and subtle power and beauty. Wonderful healing music, psychedelic and loving. Small children like Orchid a lot when played before daytime sleep.
