I read this on House of Trance. Is it true?

MATSURI, he was half of PRANA.
Tsuyoshi took a few years off to experiment with other music genres,

Tsuyoshi is in deed still spining, you can find him at any party around Japan, usually in Roppongi and what not (often in the bathroom)..he is definitely not spining psychedelic trance music, He is doing parties now at Ageha with people from the Turbo Trance Crew and although his sets are IMHO better than 2-3 years ago it is nowhere near the prana days, he has diffrent taste now and I can understand his position...even though i dont care for his style much, he is no doubt a great DJ and a nice guy.. |

well...if Tsuyoshi is back in the Trance fold.. then a big "Welcome"..... (i got into trance through PRANA) -
However... if he is just using his TRANCE name to play 'non trance' music at 'Trance parties' (as has often happened before)
.. then I would say..... 'not welcome'

he does not play psy no more.
but he p;ays his dj set describing like a retrospective way of evolution of his music taste, means he plays goa to his new funk music of late production for long hours.
I think it depends on the organizer ask him to do so or not.
but he does not on our side and he hated the categorizing narrow minds from psytrance scene.
he is a legend but no expection for psy.
period.

He played in Korea in July 2003 and he played some kick ass hard funky techno with a touch of trance thrown in . But it was monstrous anyway and we here thoroughly enjoyed it. I was expecting him to play psytrance but in the end it didnt matter . He was insane . |

I still remember him in Portugal a long time ago playing for Hipnose Productions (1998 if i'm not wrong) and i have to admit he kept my attention during all his set.
Hope to hear more about him soon (in the trance scene preferentially)!  |

Hello from NYC.
Tsuyoshi played really well... a mix of trance, techy-house, techno and psy trance.... his last half an hour was the best part of his set.... clean psychadelic stuff.
Dino Psaras played after him.... Killer one of the best sets I have heard in a long time. A true master.
