Is there a logical way to figure out the key of a track after changing bpm on a CDJ?

+1.... psytrance knows no rules!
Keep it psychedelic, doesn't matter to me if you pitch it up or down to n%, it should sound good & have a psychedelic feel!

Massive BPM changes can work fine if the tracks fit.
Example: I once mixed Highko v Chromatone - Double Milk Vaio into Goe v Enertopia - Jupiter beach. At least a 10 bpm change. It sounded perfect!
Sped up techtrance mixes great with night fullon or some less-crazy darkpsy as well. (e.g. Spirallianz -> Suria)

I agree ascension but few tracks will sound well at that pitch change.

True. This is where being a good dj comes into play . There's a million ways to do something different, but far less ways to do something different and still have it sound good.
