Guuuy! what 80th? its 21 century now.. there  are 3-4 trance remixes and you think that 80th are back.
No. They never will be back. We don't need them. These remixes show the lack of imagination - this is the first reason.
The second - all times we had some remixes on old songs. Even techno remixes on Bethoven.
The third - such kind of song will be popular and brings money
Trance is the ancient music of the Future (wow :)).

It may be the 21th century but the 80's are indeed making a serious comeback.

Not just in music but in fashion, cinema & television (btw i know it's from the 70's but today THE TIME TUNNEL returns to tv)

music genres such as ELECTRO are totally based on 80's sounds and vibes and are getting really popular.
About trance, mixing 80's elements is not due to a lack in imagination - it's a sign of innovation.
i.m.o it's very refreshing and funky - and can make some tracks really groovy .

And moonwalking is also the name of a very known 80's movie, starring the one and only, Micheal Jackson! ;-)

if anyone is interested in 80's/70's funky tunes combined with up-to-date sounds, check Possible Apple's upcomming release "Daddy" on Surreal Audio.

Well, to think about it, i haven't really lived the 80's, but if SFX  made their trax in 89, think of the similarities, from SFX '89, to today's trance. The similarities are undeniable.

BOM!!!

np:mfg - have a nice day. :)
