rinkadink and eskimo also have some breakbeats... like they start with the kick/bass, and then, before the hihat comes in, they have some weird breaks in between... i think it is great, but is kind of stops the trance thing... it's not on and on and on.. it's more like on and in and oin... on and in and oin... d you know what i mean?? Listen to rinkadink - techmology or eskimo - my rave, and you'll see what i mean!

While very good, IMO Ghreg on Earth's industrial elements are rather tame.           When rain dries, clouds form.
When clouds moisten, rain forms.

Well i think that those industrial sounds are made by some plugins and synthesizers, sounds a like in the industrial. But it doesn't mean that psytrance is going industrial, though is influenced by it.When in metal classical harmonies, elements and moves are used, it doesn't mean it goes, classical.I mean, In music people use somethings that are already exist and make it sound more modern and original. But some people don't make it creative and cool, and just rip things away, and just make shit out of it.When something is taken from someone else it has too be done for the best or not at all.I think that a lot of things in psytrance were taken from the industrial scene. It's because it's electronic music.Or whatever.

Industrial?! Many opinions here...
Einsturzende Neubauten? Sleep Chamber? Throbbing Gristle? Current 93? Nurse with Wound? These are some of the grandads of 'industrial' music..psychedelic? YES! IS there elements in Psy-Trance? Yes...but only 'elements' (swooshing noises, clanks and klangs). If you are refering to neo-industrial groups like Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb and the sort, then yes. Mostly due to the fact that samples of beats from these neoindustrialelectro groups were used in Goa tracks from the get-go           "Any act, if in accordance with the Will, is an act of Magick."

For some reason there is general feeling from me... almost in my 36th lap around that great ball of fire... to return to our roots. I started going out when I was 14 and I heard groups like 242, nitzer Ebb, A split second, meat beat manifesto, revolting cocks and all that jazz. I also listen to my share of acid house and new beat. This is the music that originally inspired me back then. After playing music for almost 17 years and for no reason in particular I am starting to look back at those times and music. I miss leads and harmony... good leads and harmony that sound, either, awesome or fresh. I also like the droning elements and 303 acid and basslines. For me it is a very exciting time and I hear it in some trance releases and on other genres of electronic music.

And in a few years we will hear goa again. Not the same goa, but psy trance that will be completly new and made by ppl outside the current psy trance scene the 90s are coming.
