The german label IONO MUSIC, responsable nowadays by a lot of creamy Progressive Psytrance álbuns and compilations around the World, includding the massive successful albuns of MUTe and Suntree released recently, under the control of the talented Cubixx, just did another great job for the Progressive Psytrance fans around the World: The release of INVISIBLE REALITY albun!
The Israeli duo is formed by Shamil and Igor, and showed through this albun that the people from this amazing country always know how to make good psychedelic music and more then this: how to be creative even with some people saying it still always the same music.
Really musician tracks, not simple loops but melodic and aggressive trance stuff. Serious and closed basslines among a lot of effects of voices, air, drums, breaths, animals, doors, and very nice notes of leads.
The guys are so talented that they had the support already of John 00 Flemming, one of the most respected guys in the Trance scene around the Globe, of the famous Ministry of Sound label.
So let´s stop talking and begin a real trip inside a psychedelic journey filled with a lot of emotion, passion, beauty and at the same time power sounds.
01- VISIBILITY – Well, this is the name of the album. What more do I need to say? (lol) In fact it´s very curious how they were brave in putting the main first track of the album the one that has the name of the album. Usually we see this in the middle of the album, like track 04, 05, 06. It´s a serious track, with a closed bassline composed by two notes, some ‘’alone trancy notes’’ along the track giving a melodical interface for it, and I simply loved the vocals they put, sounds like a children screaming or something… Very mysterious one! At the 02:57 another lead begins giving more movement to the track and it begins to be really danceable. At 04:22 the main break, with the mysterious vocal, and a real beautiful trance melody… This vocal whispering remembers me one of the best trance tracks ever did by Blank and Jones, ‘’The Nightfly’’. And then at the 04:51 it returns again moving our bodies with a great history created by percussion and effects… It´s melodic, beautifull and at the same time aggressive. Really good job, I think this track is just perfect to finish a set, with a golden key track.
02- SIMPLICITY – The beginning of this track is simply amazing: some ‘’oriental’’ melody, growing, growing, filled with some effects and after the 01:03 minutes is hit the serious face of Invisible Reality appear again. Deep and serious bassline, two notes between each snare making a great movement in the music. Some of the effects of this music is really interesting, like ‘’distorced’’ notes and vocals… And the percussions are great, there is also some acoustic drums before some compasses finishes.
In the middle of this track I could feel the good and old Psytrance serious music, like in 2003, 2004, where some lysergic music made us dance with the eyes closed tripping in the waves of the sound.
This is a very good track to keep a flow in any Prog Psy set.
03- TIMELESS – We can already recognize this track as the ‘’killer break track’’. I say this because the main break of it is so catchy that I will always want to put it in myt sets to see how it goes in every dancefloor!
But it´s not only a good break track. It still have one of he main strategy of Invisible Reality which is the serious closed bassline, and a spectacular lead, distorced with some filters ad cutoff, which really accelerates any brain in the dancefloor. Trully acid power, filled with effects and good percussion.
The main break comes at 05.20, but the melody that make it very unique is in the 05.26, with an awesome bassline melody sounding like an American funk style, coming together with some others aggressive sounds like that distorced lead. In my opinion this is one of the highlights of this albun! For sure a bomb in any dancefloor.
04- CREATURE IN MY MIND – With another great mysterious beginning the track begins giving us an idea of a ‘’dark forest’’, like some movies soundtracks. Again, a closed and serious bassline but this time slower then the previous track. Good track to begin a set in my opinion. The snares on this one is real good, wet snares, like a cowboy beating his horse! (lol)
The melody that begins in th 04:07 along with some vocals are just classical music voices and notes. You can even think you´re listening to an Opera or a Classical Music with some kicks and bassline over it.
As I said, it´s a ‘’obscure’’ track, dark one, maybe better to be played in the night. Trully crazy, which reminded me a little bit of the good and old PPS Project and Manibus track, when I used to play Prog Dark (like 6 years ago).

05- LOVE STORY – A different bassline is the main point in this track. It´s kind ‘’broken’’ but making a perfect movement for the music. Some female vocals introducing the parts of the tracks in the end of each compass along with some alone notes dropped during the music. A very simple melody but well done, we can realize it´s a musican track and not only an expert in PC. The shakers that appears in the 02:50 are another great tool used on this one, making it faster and more danceable. Being honest this is not a bomb to be played but it´s a good track to listen and appreciate the girl´s vocal or even be played in the end of an afternoon day. Melodic, slowly, ass shaker, lysergic and beautiful. That´s how I would resume it.
06- OBSESSIVE – ‘’Fly With Me….. Effects…. We Can Fly, fly fly…’’ And that´s how the girl introduces this track. At the 00:53 mins a ‘’abduction’’ effect to then BOOOOM, a strong bassline comes in with the snare and shakers. Between, I really liked these snares, remembers me the awesome old trance music (produced my Gouryella, System F, etc). When its reaching the middle of the track another killer effect composed by some ‘’distorced vocals’’ and also more acid sounds, like the old acid house tracks.
The break that begins at the 02:54 is just as good as the one in ‘’Timeless’’, escaping from those regular breaks and making a killer break composed by electric guitar and bass, like if a band was playing with the producers…. Really MUSICIAN stuff once more.
This track is for sure another top of this album, be for its different break or for its aggressive bass, or even about its electric guitar giving an lysergic effect to the music, it´s truly adviced to bomb any dancefloor around the World.
07- RITMO – RAPTURE (INVISIBLE REALITY REMIX) – When Dubi (aka Ritmo) released his first amazing album ‘’Disharmonic Silence’’ by Iono Music the original Rapture track was considered by a lot o fans one of the best of his album, together with ‘’Wake Up’’ hit.
So it was more then deserved to have a great remix of it and Invisible Reality did it very well.
This remix is more melodic then the original is, slower aswell, let´s say less psycho and more progressive. The dropped electric guitar sounds are really good and Invisible Reality really know how to choose the right sound and moment to drop them.
The main break of it it´s a stong point, with distorced-filtered synth growing up with some shakers and leads, closed kicks and when it explodes it´s again another crazy acid sound.
It´s very different from the original mix, very indeed. But you can choose to play this one in slower occasions – like I the end of the Line Up or in the end of your set – and leave the original mix to faster times. Both are excellents and do their job really good.
08- SYNTHETIC MIND – Oh my God, I am so afraid of children´s voices in psychedelic tracks! (lol). This one begins mysterious and scary, with Break Beats kicks and the children saying they´ve created a perfect world for us…. Scary! (lol)
For sure this is an unusual track (like almost all the album, escaping from the regular Prog Psy music), still with all the main strong points of Invisible Reality which are closed bassline, slow music, great effects and distorced leads. Dunno why but this reminded me a little bit some of the newest MUTe music, released also by Iono.
A great track to make people close their eye and trip inside the track, the middle of it is just pure lysergic effect, with some ‘’broken voices’’ following the crazy lead notes.
In the 05:08 another SCARY melody beging and after the explosion a good danceable track.
This one is not in my top favourites tracks of the album but still a very good track and really well done my musician producer – not only pc expert, I repeat.
09- RELAXATION FIXATION – So you want something really different? Here you HAVE something different!
The crazy Israeli duo just choosed a perfect very slow and lysergic, tripping, music to close their album with a gold key.
It´s really a DUB music, with funky bassline and some chill out melodies floating over the track. Here they showed us they are not just good making powerfull music, they could do something slower and really beautiful for our ears, a masterpiece for a chilling tripping occasion, but why not for an experimental time aswell? Really great idea to close this magnific albun.
CONCLUSION: All in all I can say this is another GREAT work did my Israeli producers who we must confess still own the Psychedelic ground on the emusic scene. Iono showed us once more that Israelis are not what some people say (without any creativity and doing all the time the same things) and more then this, showed us we still have serious Progressive Psytrance tracks.
The main points of Invisible Reality productions are firstly its closed-serious bassline, second the ‘’slow’’ aspect in the music which is rare nowadays and many times missed by the DJs to open or close their sets but still a very powerfull album, with morning trance tracks and also some obscure dark ones.
The acid house sound is present in some of the music and it´s just great to give it a lysergic slap.
To show us that they are really musicians and not only PC Experts the guys did some INCREDIBLE BREAKS, with electric guitar sounds and acoustic basses.
I really advice it for those who want to play some creative Progressive Psytrance, or even have the pleasure of listening it and trip along the album.

Great stuff, especially track 1. These guys make great progressive and aren't afraid to use melodies. I've listened to it a couple of times now and can only give two thumbs up! Iono does it again, they're one of my favorite labels of late.
