hey serguei,

the new version is great! i like your skills and the atmosphere of this track... morning and dark influences combined in one track
in my opinion, the bassline needs more
EQ, specially the bass needs more presence and there is one resonance that need to be cut (booming a little bit)

good work, keep on!!!

Hey serguei, you have a lot of good work in this track but let me comment you need to really improve the overall groove of the track i mean i can hardly hear the hi hats on it and i would also put a break beat inside the highs! The bass and kick need some better EQ man there is a rumble i can hear! The lines are great even the sound i like a lot but also could be better! Work more and more on the sounds to get that fine clear sound!

Keep it up brother

Booom!
hi people, thanx for this important reviews!

>>jaramogi>> thanx man, you really got to the essence of this (and others) Swan X-1 tracks: dark and morning blended in a peaceful evoluting coexistence! I love the good dark and the good morning groove, and we try to mix it all up with sense.

>>ganjagil>> thanx ganjaman for these good advices! I'll listen to the track in diferent (better) monitors to get it all better mixed. We are looking for good monitors now as we are using old big Hi-Fi speakers. We don't have good definition in the low freqs and it's dificult to fine-tune the bass. The groove/hat situation is something I'll look at more carefully.

>>both>> thanx! we are thinking of doing the mix again because now we are using Reason rewired with Nuendo2 (instead of exporting audio tracks) and getting a better sound definition of all sounds!

>>all>> feel very welcome to listen to our track and to share your feeling with us! we're looking for every diferent feeling

hi serguei
i´m sorry, but this tracks really really needs a lot of work. the eq is bad bad bad, i bet you coulnd´t play this on a P.A, people would run away.
i would define this track as "Goa Hardcore", specially in the end it really gets hardcore.
i´ve heard other songs from you, better songs, this not at all my type sorry, and yes please update the site cause the old one """sucks""" sorry.
anyway keep workin cause i ve heard better tracks from you

Hello hello again!

>>azaad>> mate, I'm not offended by hard words or opinions, I'm just offended with untrue opinions and I think you were sincere, and thanx for it.
The Goa Hardcore ending and the composition behind this track is something we like very much, although I'm shure that they can sound bad on good monitors because we still haven't got ones
Tomorrow I'll listen to to this and 2 upcoming tracks in a pair of Alesis MKII to understand what's going on better.

>>fingax>> thanx for the uplifting words my friend, they really got me some fresh air
we're chasing our sound with lots of strenght and motivation and I think we won't stop for nothing! We'll develop this one and we're taking care of the remixing of 2 more tracks, never looking back soon enough we'll get near your superior sound quality thanx.

>>all>> keeep them coming! they're still a lot of brains and ears that we're looking forward to recieve a review, Hayez, Margheritta (your post was blank ), ii_roman, durbamata, psylyun, and so much more, please LET US KNOW what you great composers think of our work!

Psychedelic Greetings to you all!

serguei i´m glad you understood that i didn´t meant to be offensive but constructive, and again i´m sorry if i haven´t used the most polite way of saying things
i´m happy for you getting new speakers, alesis are good ones for sure, you´r makin a good choice
but again about the track, when it reaches 5:30, you can´t hear the bass anymore , nor can you hear the kick, just an amount of noise that played at 30 watts is audiable, but if you try to play it at 30.000 you wont hear the track at all, believe me, so many tracks you hear and sound just good and then when played in a P.A, they get so much distorted, this one i dont know...
but keep the good work, and good luck with the new monitors

Took a listen and what can I say? It sounds pretty good, it starts out like a night time stomper. I think you've overdone it on the bass however. Turn it down just a notch. Now it's taking over a lot of the other sounds in the mix. The intro is good, sets the mood. The buildup is pretty cool, but pay attention you don't use too many sounds. Psychedelic is good, but don't overdo it. To sum it up: Turn the bass down a little, so the highs get more attention. Then pay attention to the end. A nice voice sample before the final buildup wouldn't hurt either.

All in all I must say I enjoyed it, there's a lot of good psychedelic potential here. Keep it up!!           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Thanx Acidhive!

Very interesting and constructive comments
We are indeed removing less important lines in the messy parts, and tuning all sounds better with better monitors and WaveLab Spectral Analyser.
Thanx for the push and for the this inner review! psychedelic moving on!

Hello Serguei.

Well,... about "Across the universe":
I like perticulary your new Psy Goa and against others opinions up, the last 3 minutes are very fine to me. Not HardGoa at all, "for me of course". But is true that you need improve your Kick and Bass. They destroy a little your song.

Personal opinion: if you change both, your song become more powerfulllll.
Make a review to this and you see that you improve a lot this song.

Don´t loose your self only with the melodies, the groove is very important to make: any dance song.

Take Care, BooM....and "have fun" to.
