If you were going to introduce a friend to psytrance by making them only ONE cd, what tracks- both classic and current-would you have to include in the playlist?
Thanks so much for your opinions

Why don't you make a journey CD. I mean make a comp or two. One with classics starting with something chill, proggy into full on into night into full on into morning into chill. Another with up to date music with the same formula.

I think ppl are either ready or not. Don't think to much about it. Also I think he/she needs to go to a party for a proper introduction.

Something like Spirit Zone's "Best of 100" has got a good selection.

Other than that, get your friend all tripped up on acid and throw them into a massive sound field with someone like Lestat (Talamasca) working the decks. Or perhaps one of the 3D-Vision people. Your friend will either love it or hate it.

It'd all depend on what they usually listen to...

that'S what I do... I do a different one for every one... depending on what they like...           ----

thanks- thats a really great idea. What im asking is, what are some absolute "offthenutboom-TRACKS " that you'd HAVE TO ABSOLUTELY include in this cd. For whatever mood/environment/reason.... the ones you think are REAL special...track name and artist(s)

Dude, seriously, don't even bother. Most people can't deal with the music. I let a DNB veteran listen to IM' Bust-a-move, and she couldn't handle it.

I mean WTF she's a DNB freak!
