Things are looking busy for post summer releases here at Interchill HQ.

compilations:

Sub Signals vol 1 - Compiled by Gaudi in a pure dub style. This comp launches a new series - Sub Signals - where the idea is to release proper dub...

Bliminal - I've nearly finished compiling this... nice collection of tunes taking shape + lovely artwork from Luke Brown

albums:

Pushmipulyu - 133 Thursdays
Debut album from Michael Dog and Steve Rowlands [Full Moon Scientist]. Totally compelling cd + quite unconventional.

Liquid Stranger
Deep dubby electronica from Sweden.

Spring 2007 will see Umberloid and Fredrik Ohr debut albums.

Sonic variety coming your way...

wow, that is some amazing stuff on the horizon!

The liquid stranger track off earth octave lounge 2 actually got me out of the bed and check the artist...quite an accomplisment, all things considered

then, the frederick ohr track off same comp, i wasn't about to move...mmm...

and umberloid...no words necessary there eh?

pushmipulyu, michael dog reappearing? interesting... I like unconventional.

thanks for the teasers!

What's "proper" dub in a pure dub style? I'm thinking it's like gaudi's dub it or night watch tracks, retaining some psychedelic aspects. That would be very very nice. Props on the Luke Brown art as well.

sorry , maybe I missed something? but what has Highpersonic Whomen got to do with this thread?!! I would love to hear a new album from them as well, I have posted in the DJ & Artists section.

back on topic - can't wait for a 'proper' dub album from sub-sonar too, I reckon Gaudi could round up a few tracks pretty quickly for this.            - - It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice... - -

yippee!
this sounds very promising (the other projects too, ofcourse) cause you can't have enough of proper dub. may this series live long and prosper

Umberloid AND Fredrik Ohr...oh yes, Interchill has the flavors I'm after. Every time I play Neon Tetra or Return I wish for more, more more!

Thanks for the info, Andrew! Looking forward to these and others!

Hey Andrew

I caught your set at Shambala last year
Truly was the best chillout set I've ever heard!
Amazing...

I was wondering if you had a tracklist of that set?
cheers
