great points you've raised here dude.

(we're going soo off topic, but our moderators are nice people and wont tell the gods to throw thunders on us hehe at least i hope eheh)

fully agree with u on this: sectarism is not taking us anywhere but a bottomless pit where our sounds wont reach more than some few people scattered around the globe.

thats absolutely awful for someone who makes music - unless they want it this way. in this case...we cant do nothing. and sometimes i feel like some people really want to push things this way: they want to be on their "ghettos". i come from a rock/metal scene where sectarisms are very strong, specially in some heavier genres of the music. it got so narrowed to a point like u said: "only this is real" and etc.

i feel like there's a big space for dark-nighty sounds to fill in, but organizers are still dominated by a "instant-cash n profit" mentallity thats ruining our scene.

for the record: we played some sets here in bh where people just couldnt stop dancing. im preety sure they're open to new sounds, if they were not, they wouldnt be dancing and screaming like maniacs when we play our 160/170 freaky-blasts.

_____

we could make a new thread for this discussion, having the "diversity" issue on our scene as a bottomline, cause its not only dark thats being affected by the mainstream domination.

=)

cheers mates, and thx tjaal for understanding our points and for the nice words about our project.

best wishes for 2008!

hello there!!!
my friends i have nice time in belo...meet nice people.
but u cannot open this topic specially for this party...
first of all u must know what is meaning sound system..
cause this party have noise system and all music was playing was the same bad noise.about vs pop rock psy or whatever. this for people who dont know what tu do ..me i play in all big festivals in the world and have verry good friends who making fullon trance techno metal pop and all type of music..and they never speak about vs...this is people who dont know about music and coming on partys just tu say who is the best and who is not...when u speak like that ,that mean u still a child who dont know the word RESPECT...... also u cannot make all people happy cause the power of the human is that evrybody is different evrybody have different taste of music of food of feelings...
for me i like all type of music ..all the music create resonance and all this resonance create worlds and cells, all the system and all which we see around us is created by sound .sound waves .
anyway people must understend more and more the world around us and ot stuck on the past..we have little time....enjoy it...
peace&boom
HAPPY NEW YEAR TU ALL PEOPLE!!!!
