all a matter of taste but Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown are all better. Still this is one of the best of 2009 I think.
Dont agree with the Brad Pitt critisizms either, he has a massive collection of movies with great performances and he's not bad in this either...

question is what the heck was Mike Myers doing there with his annoying smirk? Once a director starts pushing stupid cameos like that you know its the beginning of the end.

Aha didn't even notice who that was till you just mentioned it. what do you expect from a guy who plays a decapitated head on a stick in his previous movie? most of the basterds were pretty weak characters anyway. brad pitt on the other hand was quite funny.... he's a terrific actor in challenging roles. this wasn't one of them.

2 scenes would make this one memorable. opening sequence and the meeting in the tavern (classic pulp fiction) ... the rest will be forgotten.

The opening scene is absolutely amazing. It could easily have ended with the "Au revoir, Shoshana"           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Totally agree. After that scene I felt fully satisfied and was ready to grab my coat.

As for Brad Pitt I can't but see him as the same person in every movie. Not that I'm complaining cos he does the character well. I just haven't seen him push boundaries.

This movie had potential but unfortunately in the end it was just ok.

For me if Tarantino could manage and make a movie divided in different and independent scenes and stories (like the first scene for example which could be a scene on its own) then this would be a real gem but the whole plot got mixed up in the end.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

agree, This movie is a pure mash up! i think it was childish to be honest. a horrible story, and honestly i think its bad taste in comedy/drama/romance...some how mixed in with WWII....what was he trying to do here?
this guy should stick to cool crime movies, ever since killbill he's taking a huge downfall.

Reservoir Dogs Dogs and Jackie Brown are by far his best.

if you can make it to the end youll be hugely disappointed.

what happened to just bashing in a bunch of nazi skulls?

well, I really expected a bit more. That is a standard hollywood version and nothing more.
A movie of this background character is another league than kill bill and co .This was a nice film with a humorous touch in it quite an avarage though. The good part of it were the german actors like Til Schweiger the bad part of it was just the funny interpretation.I expected a bit more.
Good for smoking a fat one and make a nice watching but nothing special which will last in memory for longer.Nothing beats Pulp Fiction - this was a masterpiece.
