Kai Q and Deathposture both are collectors of rare old stuff, you might want to ask them!

What condition is it in?

I had it once... Traded it off for 4 other CDs... I wish I'd kept it though...

But what's even more rare, is the very sought-after Infinity Hz 2...

the label (matsuri) doesn't exist anymore, making it a collecters item... many people that like this style (or simply people obsessed with collecting stuff) want this cd... but there are only so many copies around... and most owners don't want to see it leave their collection...

i think most of them where released around 1996

Well, I guess it's not that special... But it's good, old Matsuri quality... Allow me to quote an old review I wrote about it @ ektoplazm.com.

V/A - Infinity Hz (Matsuri Productions 1996)

Yeah, I've dug up another one of those classic compilation from the golden age of psytrance. And let me start by saying, that this is a very good compilation, which features some really good tracks and is a nice mixture between UK, Israeli, Japanese and European trance.

This CD Digipack is from Japanese-based label Matsuri Productions and is compiled by Tsuyoshi Suzuki a.k.a. Prana. and it comes as no surprise, that he's involved in 4 tracks out of the 5 Japanese featured on this compilation. But let me also say that the tracks he's involved in ALL are very good!

CD1 kicks of with a very cool track by Prana. Good use of synths creates an almost-MWNN sound. CD1t2 is perhaps the biggest classic on this cd: Nick Barber And Simon Posford delivers the stunningly beautiful stomper "Born Again" .. "..you need to be booooorn again!". No further introduction needed here. CD1t3 is another Japanese track with a great melody. CD1t4 is a full-on, ol'-fashioned piece of art from Tooth Monkey And Tristan and they've made a very energetic fast track. Notice the cool melody with the ping-pong sounds in the ending! CD1t5 is from UK-based Rhythmystec and I don't really like this track. It's only another fairly good, synth-based track! Most be considered one of the fillers on this compilation. CD1t6 is a slow starting, monotonous boring track that goes absolutely nowhere.. Filler! CD1t7 is a little better than it's predecessor. Features nice samples ".the gift of." and is a traditional piece of Israeli trance, that gets boring though. Another Filler! After 3 disappointing fillers CD1t8 delivers the good stuff again. This is a very cool, full-on track with an amazing kick-drum from Japanese Bass Chakra. Not so much BS just pure quality psy with smashing samples and even didgeridoo sounds at 4.00 . ". Travel across the void - 230000 miles!.".

CD2 starts with the same track as CD1 ends with, but it in a different mix. A more relaxed/ambient'y start. Turns out to be extremely psychedelic though, but still in a more relaxed manner than the other mix. CD2t2 is from Athena, better known as Miranda Silvergreen, and is a track from the good old days when she made cool music. Those days are over now. This song is very predictable though and must also be considered as a filler. CD2t3 is the classic track Goaway from Power Source. A very simple, yet efficient track. Cool! CD3t4 is another classic from Transwave, which features experiments with drum-machines. This is a very fast-moving good track! CD2t5 starts with some very strange noises - even for psytrance - and a "relaxed" kick-drum which creates a very mellow vibe. The bad thing about this track, is that it gets annoying in the middle. Gets better towards the end though. Average track. CD2t6 is a really great track from Boris Blenn and DJ Sangeet under their alias Endra. Traditional drums with a twist. The trackname "Joy" is very fitting, 'cause this is a joyful track! CD2t7 is another fav'e here. A very dark - scary even - track here. Much better than Rhythmystec's track on CD1. Very, very good track with well-fitting samples! CD2t8 Also a very fast, pounding track that keeps evolving with long cool build-ups. Cool track! CD2t9 last track on this compilation is also Japanese and features tribal drums and vocoded samples. Turns into a very psychedelic beauty in the nice morning style. A very worthy ending!

All in all this is a cool compilation with 6 VERY good tracks, 4 fillers and 7 mediocre tracks.. Also features very, very psychedelic, beautiful artwork! ;o) But it's worth buying tracks for the good tracks. This would have gotten a solid 9/10 w/o the fillers, but I can't stretch myself to giving this more than 7.5/10 Bom shankar!

Mind you, this review was written 2 years ago, when I wasn't much of a reviewer - but I guess it still has enough basic information to be useful...

For example, I could get it for $37.50 within 2 months...
And Infinity Hz 2 for $30.50...
Though I'm not exactly sure...

Must be the part II of the compilation           Interviewer: "So Frank, you have long hair. Does that make you a woman?"
Frank Zappa: "You have a wooden leg. Does that make you a table?"
