You guys don't get it.
Infected are actually geniuses. They made a horrible song that you have to hate and yet in the same time you cannot escape singing in your head for days even if you heard only 1 minute of it.
And so you keep hearing them in your head singing: "you are so fucked, so fucking fucked, yeah yeah yaeh yeah" . Which is of course true, because you are fucked! You're stuck with this horrible song, and the chorus of this song goes: "you are so fucked, so fucking fucked, yeah yeah yaeh yeah" . Which is of course true, because you are fucked! "Genius" is such a over-used term in this scene.
Oh I forgot. IM is no longer involved in this scene (apart from their random old-school sets) so why do you guys keep debating them years after they left the scene behind?

This album is genius. Listen to track 3 the build up beofre the choruse, that metal like strange sound in the background, just wonderful, there are so many great compositions int his album, new type of sounds, yet, it still keeps that infected feel, with more harsh parts intertwined with more emotional parts. It's just sooooo great! It took me about 4 listens before I couls accept the album, but now I can listen to it constantly. This is great composition, great music. There is NOONE that does what infected does better than themselves, in fact, there is noone that does anything even remotely close to what infected does. So fuck off all you haters, there is no criticism against the composition that is adequate, it's simply a question of taste.

I think we better let go sometime with this band.. Ok they 're geniuses maybe, they tricked every young, untrained ear that happened to listen to their music. And they make well paid concerts often. Well not a proof more needed to realize that in the world of blind people, the one-eyed dominates. |
