Is this a joke? I would have thought so, but apparently this is the kind of music Infected Mushroom makes now.
I used to love Infected Mushroom but ever since "Converting Vegetarians" they started going down a path which I don't really like. Some people say "oh come on, they're just trying out new kinds of music, be open minded". Sure, I don't think there's anything wrong in trying new music, quite the opposite. But why do they have to make it more and more commercial and cheesy and bad each each time they do it?
I mean, this "U R So Fucked" is it even possible to take it serious? I would never play or listen to this. Even if I heard it at a regular club, where they play commercial music, and I was drunk as a skunk, I still doubt I would like this.
Although I can admit I found the music video kind of funny (and weird). But the music itself is... well. Let me put it like this. I just listened to some old I.M. stuff. Like Classical Mushroom. Which I still think is a masterpiece.
And I say:
these guys are surely wasting their talent!
What do you think?
PS. Now what would be funny would be if I.M. suddenly came out and said: "Hey, we were just joking around to become famous. Now we will go back to making real - i.e. psychedelic trance music - again." That would be cool. I doubt it will happen though. Ut ameris, amabilis esto.

Never enjoyed their old stuff except B.P Empire & while some of the non-vocal new stuff is great production n' cool for commercial trance, not a massive fan. But they are making lots of money & I'd say right now are the most successful music group to have come from the Goa/Psy scene. If they're happy then I'm happy for them. There is much worse music still in this scene IMO.

personaly, I don't give a fuck if it's psytrance or sth else, if the music is well done. These guys are great producers.
And even real musicians - when analysing their psytrance works it becomes clear. This is even something that is not really common in this genre - to get deep with notes,chords & music harmony.

Ignore the pointless tracks that make it to videos and enjoy the crafty cuts in between.
