Infected mushroom didn’t play @ 7 as schedule – because of the weather we had after non 4-6PM, the sound people didn’t took the risk that the equipment will be damaged with the rain. and we had to take all infected mushroom gear/rider upstairs
and make it happen over there.
I was Myself disappointed that they didn’t play as schedule, Many Guest of mine Left And came back @ Midnite. It was a last min situation , and shit happens.
Why its not mention 21+ on the flyer? Nikki Beach never did 18+ events.
And for all of those that send Guest List Request to Revolution, Check on Your Emails

It sucks that the rain hit you guys.
I don't see what is the big deal of being 21 years and older. If someone is under 21, just don't sell them alcohol. Plain and simple.

Trance Miami would like to thank all the people involved in helping making this event an amazing success. You know who you are!!! Infected Mushroom played a pumping DJ set to a jam packed room and then performed a Live set in the most beautiful venue in Miami. There Live show was totally out of control and they has a great time being back in Miami. Amazing Vibe All Night Long!!!
As you can imagine it takes a lot of co-ordination to produce an event of this magnitude. We located the only venue in Miami that could support an outdoor performance and were extremely excited to have Infected Play Outside on the beach for sunset. We had to incur a lot of extra expenses to try and make this happen but due to a few unfortunate circumstances including the weather, sound arriving late and sabotage we had to come up with a quick plan to accommodate there DJ Set and Live PA. We sincerely apologize to anyone who had to wait to see the Live PA or ended up missing it this time. Anyone who asked to be reimbursed because they had to leave early we worked with.
The afternoon set by Arjuna was truly amazing. This event rammed at about 1AM. Infected played a sickass dj set downstairs to a packed room and then rocked the shit out of Pearl!!! Anyone who was there witnessed the most astounding Live Performance Miami has seen in a long time. Dj RoE totally proved what a talented artist he is by following Infected Mushroom with an incredible set. We look forward to working with you again on the Astral Projection event August 3’rd at Sonar Night Club. This event drew over 1500 people and is a great stepping-stone for our scene in South Florida.
We have been organizing large-scale events for over seven years across North America and with every event produced there are always last minute problems that have to be dealt with. We take a major financial risk every time we plan an event like this and to be totally honest with you it is definitely not he money that keeps us going. It is the gathering of like-minded people who come together to enjoy great music, leave the problems of every day life and help secure a better future for generations to come. Yesterday we had many more issues to resolve then an average event of this size. We still managed to pull it off and it turned out to be an unbelievable event!! We want to thank all who attended for your support and we hope you had a great time. If you did have problems we sincerely apologize and will make it up to you in the near future!
A special thanks goes out to RoE and the Sonar Crew, Moti, RiotGear, Ajuna, Ramses and all the other people involved in making this the most successful psy-trance event Florida has ever scene. 1500 Strong and growing!!! We will continue to work hard in bringing cutting edge music to South Florida and look forward to seeing you at Analog-Pussy later this month and then Astral Projection Live @ Sonar On August 3’rd. Fliers for Astral Projection will hit the streets this week.

Were any of you actually there? Are you sure? Because most of the people walking in that door couldn't have told you who Infected Mushroom even was, let alone any of their songs, etc. Not that it's not great that more people are getting exposed to goa, but to call it a success based on the number of heads you had in the place is not exactly accurate. How many people COULD you have had if the party had been promoted more? Or if it was held in a different venue?
And I apologize for not knowing that Nikki Beach ONLY does 21 and over events. I wasn't aware that a personal familiarity with a venue was assumed - because after all, since the sun clearly rises and sets in Miami, who wouldn't know the age requirements of a particularly preppy and upscale cheaply done club that served as a venue for a band clearly superior to the venue itself? Besides me, of course. And everyone else aware that Miami is not the only city in Florida with clubs that throws parties.
I appreciate the hard work it must take to pull something like this together, and how frustrating it is to have to deal with things that aren't under your control. I offer my opinion (the sarcasm in the last paragraph is a bonus thrown in free one time only as a reward for your hard efforts) simply to make suggestions for improvement; not to personally criticize anyone that had part in making this party the success that you consider it. I extend congrats to the DJs that worked so hard - perhaps next time it will be possible for me to hear your music, too. |

Thats funny because it was not raining at 7pm. and it did not rain after that. I spent a great deal of the night outside and there was no rain. It is apparent that you needed to makke more money before you had infected go on, and now you a lying about it The rain ended long before anyonne went on.
Dont treat us like we are idiots.
Francisco lit it up for sure and he was worth the admission alone, but dont try to make excuses about IM. You failed to deliver. You treated the guests like asses. We were talking to everyone, we know what was going on. we heard the whole story. you failed and lied.

I dont know where you get your info from but it is 100% incorrect. If you know anyone involved in the core of this event they would LAUGH at your reason that IM did not appear early for that reason. The money was not an issue at all and we did deliver an Infected Mushroom DJ Set and a Sick Live Performance.... |

If someone is under 21 and he give someone 21+ money to buy for him drinks,, now we're having a problem,, especially in big events that the bartenders can't ask for ID 1300-1500 guests.

We were told by the people running the club that there werent enough peopl for Infect to go on that early. They said they wanted to fill the club before IM went on.

well, i see a lot of mixed reviews.
I for one thought the whole night went very well after the situation of where IM will do the live set was resolved. I thought the crowd was killer from when we were playin (10-12.45am) all the way to the end of the night. Infected tore apart the downstairs with their DJ set and upstairs looked like you just walked into a Metallica concert with every1 going absolutely nuts. I saw every1 dancing all night. no1 was standing still unless you count the people outside sitting on the beds and what not. at no time did i hear any mention of it being 18+ and i saw countless reminders that it was 21+. the promoters are not to blame for anything concerning age limits. in fact i think the promoters did one hell of a job working out the minor kinks throught the day. it's not easy tryin' to make 13-1500 people happy while having to work through problems. but they did it and it worked and IM rocked, the night rocked and I hope it will happen again.

I drove down from Lakeland for the IM show and ended up staying the whole weekend. I had a pretty good time at the show. I met some cool people. The scheduling issues were kindof like WTF, I think the room would have filled up as soon as they got on regardless. The only things I would have changed would have been for it to be a bit darker inside the club and a lot louder. They should have had it like twice as loud. I want to feel the bass kick me in the stomach, seriously. Also, the DJs that opened downstairs were playing TOO MUCH PROGRESSIVE HOUSE. Actually, I love progressive but I wansn't planning to hear anything but goa and it kind of sucked getting sucked right back into such familiar territory. the later two DJs were repeatedly having technical difficulties out loud, that didn't help. I'm not assigning blame to them but its unfortunate when bugs are overlooked and then cause a problem while you're playing live. I had a good time though.

Im not a comedian. Im just sick of going to parties and not getting what is expected.
Sorry if I was harsh earlier, but we really went out of our way to go to this show. We just were dissapointed in the end. Not completely because like I said Francisco was great and it was good too see people. But its rare that a good show comes to town and when its gets screwed up after youve spent lots of money to see it, it is frusterating.
I don't intend to be hostile, I am just venting. And I know other people feel the same way. I apologise if I was harsh earlier.

there is no doubt that the event and the show were superior for the club .
there was no place to move hoppfully this event will wake up miami.
anyway the dissapointment about the outside live was big but if i would be infected i would not play live set outside for 50-70 people that were there.
and that is a bad point for the production/promotion for not being able to deliver a sufficient crowd for the live outdoors.
about the rain there was no reason to suspect that it will rain after 5 oclock in the afternoon. so doesnt make sence for the sound crew to freak out about it.
but again good decision {by the band or the organizers} not to play infront of 50-70. people. a band of this volume should not not do that. i think we should give them that much. |

this was my 1st psy party in miami and i really didnt know what to expect, im not a big fan of the usual miami dance scene and their crowds so i wasnt sure what i was in for. well i got there at about 8pm and immediatley went inside, and the DJ that was playing downstairs im not too sure who it was but he was awesome psytrance and barely anyone was dancing, well i started dancing, and didnt stop until infecteds live PA upstairs was done at 5am. i was the girl with the buns in my hair goin nuts all night long if any of you saw. slowly through the night the crowd got bigger and it wasnt your usual "miami meat market i know nothing about the music crowd" it was a damn good psytrance crowd and I actually met alot of kewl people. Infected mushrooms dj set downstairs was sick i was bouncin around the whole time, and then the upstairs live PA was even sicker! the stage was set up behind the bar, i thought that was fukkin awesome! all night long i danced and heard amazing psytrance. theres really know way for me to describe how great this night was for me, ....im speechless! IM's set was fukkin mindblowing! in my opinion this def gets my best party of the year award so far!
IM def blew miami the fuck up, and i loved every minute of it!!!

No doubt it was a great event...not just Infected but the warm ups djs played some sick tunes which made me really dance hard.
I think that despite the delay of Infected
set, and the problems with the rain, the organizers did a nice party, with different types of music, from proggy to morning full on, and the party had an interesting crowd, some non-psy heads that were really enjoying Infected and the other psy-djs sets, and some true psy heads.
It was nice meeting a few trance people from Miami, your warming welcome hugs made me feel at home. Hope I can catch up another party down there soon. |
