well according tot the search no review of this album, found one of bp empire,
if there is one, excuse me and feel free to move it to the right place, I used the search many times but didn't find it at all...
and what is a goa review database without a full review of classical mushroom,
this one is written a while agoo,
but I just polished the dust of it to post it

nothing new for most of the people but still there are always new ones entering the goa world and I believe this album is an absolute must for anyone who discovers goa
I took the challenge to review this album but discoverd it's impossible to review, but héy what the heck I did it, and this is the result,
deal with it (kidding)

Infected mushroom created with classical mushroom a land-mark in the goa history… Nobody that doesn’t know this cd and a lot of people that started listening with infected mushroom i think…
Head marks on infected mushroom are there typical almost indescribable infected sounds… Infected has always be able to be different of other artist comparing that they made very varied and crystal-clear remarks… I think that everyone has ever fallen in love with the infected sound… for the most of us including myself is also this period maybe passed but still I’ll have respect for this unique creation… Infected gives you a surprise attack in there concept with a lot of different sounds, and good spoken samples and fun brought guitars… The eye for detail is phenomenal in classical mushroom and not to equalise… The concept of telling is a story is magnificent present overhear and I can only agree that… This is a journey through the psychedelic fields! Located in his period walked infected mushroom far but than very far a head in comparison with other artists…

Bust a move starts with a very psychedelic Latino guitar… It’s about time we infected them as sample pushes direct the start and with a good baseline we are taking off… Even from in the beginning we are overwhelm by little typical infected sounds that are going up and down… One little wave rises that speaks very strong and waves… the atmosphere is very mystical done and asks for more… Halfway the song they overtake me with full climaxes, typical infected waves that are obvious telling a story…the sparkle bass stops with next an ecstasies sound that following leap in bass announces is marked and brings variation… The drive is subtle present and create a flow that fulfil the whole… They doesn’t work in much different ranks, a piece of 3… The end part with the piano is playful and unique… This is crystal-clear and goes up and down… The symphony that builds them up becomes beautiful and certainly as the same crystal-clear pianos replace themselves with a wave that safe the same symphonies and surfs cheerful up and down… beautiful end climax. This is what makes infected mushroom so special and distinguish themselves between the other artists…

None of this is real begins with a soft subtle psychedelic Latino guitar that secretly recall myself… The electric guitar that follows is strong and beautiful… In different guitar ranks rolls the song furred and ends in a good driving baseline… The subtle lotion guitars remain floating and rule over sounds… This song is one and all guitar, transforming from the beginning until the end… The psychedelic sounds are minimal and present on the background…

Sailing in the sea of mushroom leaves with a playful psychedelic intro… The baseline is less powerful than his processors… In the song the sounds are minimal but fun present… soft mushroom sounds that are talking up and down… a soft electric guitar sample goes through my speakers… this is a very subtle and pleasant song… Not entirely melodic but just quiet enjoying of the psychedelic… little by little becomes the set fuller and there are coming more sounds at of, still everything stays very quiet… A little wave jumps up and goes subtle further… This is infected that takes his time; the end climax is a typical spooking psychedelic sound that is characteristic for infected…

The sheen started classic transformed and quiet, little infected sounds whirl up and down and a thick wave will be announced… they jump playful from the one sound to the other… The baseline tap lies and the drive is heavy represent… The classical sound turns back and infected stays playing with the sound on there own typical way…
One beauty of a wave will be announced, very playful and unique… Little by little he becomes bigger and on the 8est bass step he completes himself in full gloried. This is tasty… for a moment a brusque stop and the wave changed in a goa 303 sound that surfs wild up and down… A very good climax, even if I tell it myself… slowly the wave disappear on the background in order to afterwards transfer in a heavy voice… The voice is extremely psychedelic tinted and comes over like it is dark…
The soft period in the set follows and creates directly the need for more. The end melody is subtle and back the same wave like in the set…

Disco mushroom started with a very ominous intro… soft children’s voice and church songs. This sounds very promising and strong. Beautiful done infected mushroom… The baseline taps again light and the drive is minimal, they play strong with the song that go create slowly a form through time… after a bass stop we are fully busy with sharp convinced infected sounds that are telling a story… a mystique bubble falls my speakers and makes the atmosphere complete… a wave rise that is spinning around in circles and creates brain activity… Beautiful done and very subtle… This is again infected but on a soft subtle way… The atmosphere is beautiful done and unique in his sort… The announced endclimax is a perfect set and brought very full … NOT over melodic but a soft surfer on the waves… The end climax is very fierce and a 303 goasound shorted from the light to the right, whirls quick and fast, up and down…

Dracul rise with a beauty of a violin intro… The voices are fairy-tale like and the sounds are beautiful… On the background you hear wolfs and the dream world is created… Even in the structure you get strong goasounds to hear that brings you in ecstasy and creates the idea IM knows what there doing. The atmosphere is in this song enormous but enormous strong… A symphony arise en will control the whole song… This melody will be distort different times and will be strengthen to a beauty of a creation… little by little she becomes fuller and fuller and with different ranks at the same time she create a whole… An extra rank comes with in that plays on the last on and happen to be playful and clear clear… This is tasty goa! Uplifting and cheerful! For a moment I know again why I previous think that infected mushroom was a god… Soft singing voices fill my speakers with on the background the violins that are making everything sublime… The voices are going over in infected style and accomplish a good psychedelic feeling…

Nothing comes easy starts with a heavy baseline compared with his predecessors, probable one of the hardest on the cd… This is personally the best song that infected mushroom ever made… The construction exist out two ranks that are good represented by self-confidence goasounds… directly they are playing with the sounds and you hear misty singing… the drive jumps in it, dark and full… They are playing tasty with the near it psychedelic sounds. The melodic sound that rise becomes constantly stronger and stronger and create loads but loads the need for more; this is a bom of a song and can not be better… The announce of the climax is phenomenal and beautiful with the singing, little by little rises a intense emotional wave that soft but powerful brings myself in ecstasy… With an explosion I will be hold up with a beauty of a climax that is unbelievable… This is a melody on his best… Obvious the best climax that infected ever made…

Mushi Mushi begins with a very dizzy typical goasound that is for all of us familiar… Very subtle specify and finish off… The baseline is full and powerful… playing with the sounds is overhear obvious strike present… From the beginning till the end plays infected overhear with little big goasounds from left to right, under and above… What a creation. The different sounds that are used all fit in this picture… This song is one of the biggest climaxes and tinted infinity…

The missed symphony rolls on with a pretty piano part… The baseline is slower than his predecessors and the construction is subtle soft… This is a little bit slacken of the cd and you can enjoy furred the psychedelic concept… Suddenly there is starting a little wave that I like… little by little they are playing more and more until he complete in a super speaking sound that create brain activity… The wave is leaving for a moment as he disappears and will be replaced by a new playful sound… After a long silent we still get to hear for the last time infected in all his glory… beauty of an end climax playful and intelligent…

This is an absolute top… everyone that listen to psychedelic trance has to heard once classical mushroom to know what quality is…f
well that’s my imo, but haven’t we all our imo’s J, shouldn’t be boring If we hadn’t don’t you think

For whom? I recall many names before Infected that did just as great music or even better music. Infected did not invent the spoon. Some one before them did. When Infected arrived Goa was already History. So to call Infected Goa is to not know your scene's History.

They did ok music. Nothing new nothing groundbreaking. Just ok music.

yés and no my imo if I may
lot's of people make the mistake they think goa all started with infected cause they started with infected and infected made goa more popular,
but off course goa was waaaaaaaaay busy before infected,
infected isn't goatrance at all, ist's melodic psychedelic trance,
the patterns they use are totally different then the patterns of goatrance,
but then again you can't deny this is a milestone, let's rephraise it, it's a mileston in the evolution of goa not in the history
maybe that sounds better

I seriously do not think Infected was a milestone in anything. If anything they were a milestone in commercializing the scene and dragging the scene in the wrong direction toward the MTV groupie kind of hysteria and Mega Rave mentality we never saw prior to their popping up in the scene.

As for the music they are ok but nothing more. Most sounds they used had been used before by those who came before them and there was nothing special about their tracks and the way they composed them. It was all done before them by artists such as MFG, Astral, Psychaos, Space Cat, Etnica, Sandman and the list goes on.
What they had that nobody before them had in the same scale was good Promotion, exposure and a label that knew that in order to sell music and make two young guys famous you need to spend a lot of money on promotion. And of course the luck to be at the right place at the right time also played a major role in hyping Infected.

But all of this is of course my personal observation and opinion.

Ok trippy johnny! I suggest you go out and buy some decent studio monitors, then play Infected Mushroom's classical album, then come back here discuss...
... I mean, you're right that Goa was already history in 1997, and fantastic acts like Juno Reactor or Hallucinogen had set the standars, but please, just go and have a PROPER listen to Classical, ... it's not just 'ok music'. it's absolutely amazing, ground breaking, totally imaginative and freaked out. the work on frequencies and harmonies in that album is unsurpassed, IMO.
V/A Floating Mirror - OUT NOW - with Celles, Midimal, Electrypnose, Melodix, Troll Scientists, Yab Yum, Gaspard, Ajja, Cradle of Beats! Info on

Are genelec Monitors ok? If so I got them

And as I wrote it was my opinion. I do not try to tell you what to think. I aired my own observation and opinion as one that has been in the scene from almost the start and listening to a lot of music pre Infected.

There really is no need to try to convince me that they are so amazing as you think. I made my mind up a long time ago about Infected

Okay then! Point(s) made, and point(s) taken. You could agree to disagree, as opposed to bulldozing another's opinion with your own. IM may be discussed, debated, and deliberated upon at leisure in the relevant section. Back to reviews of the album, please.
I can only please one person per day. Today's not your day. Tomorrrow isn't looking good either.

Erez joined "our Goa scene" in 94ish with Shiva Jorg as Shiva Shidapu. To say that Erez is not a part of "our scene" is a lot of bullocks. So maybe Shiva Shidapu didn’t make Goa-trance, but Shiva-Goa-Trance, but still. Infected didn’t have to reinvent the spoon, they just changed the form a little bit. Shiva Shidapu was way before Sandman, Space Cat and the likes. They where pioneers in their own way. Not classical Goa, but Shiva-Trance. Classical Mushroom is indeed a milestone in "our scene". Nothing like it has, or ever will be made. Of course some of the sounds has been used before and it isn’t 100% original. Say that to someone who plays guitar. They will laugh their ass off. Why invent the spoon all over again, when the spoon already invented is so good. Just change the shape a little bit. I've tripped many times to both IM and Shiva Shidapu, and I can tell you one thing. It's wonderful. Classical Mushroom deserves all the respect it gets. I do how ever agree with one thing. IM became so big and popular that they managed to dirty down the scene with new people. Straight people (oh my god!!) Hey, even I started my psy with IM and Mexican shrooms. If it hadn’t been for IM and their first two albums. I would still be stuck in the land of metal. Once again, classical Mushroom deserves all the respect it can get. It's not always about personal opinion and taste. Life is bigger then the subjective opinion. God bless psychedelic music.

This album gets like 10^6/10. It was light years beyond great. Some songs like bust-a-move literally make me lose it cuz its so beautiful. Every track on this album is perfection and beyond. I actually bought this album twice. My first one was autographed by IM, and I refused to ever play it again, so I repurchased it.

Too bAD IM NEW STYLE FRIGGIN SUCKS!!!!!!

..............we'll always have classical though.
