I just went to check there site, and i cant believe what i just read. There gunna be right here in chicago Jan 28 at this place ive never heard of called the sound bar. When i read that i almost fell out of my chair and had a heart attack at the same time. I cant beleive this day has finally come. I think i know what im gunna be doin jan 28....stomping away front and center. I dont think this town will be able to withstand it, the whole place might explode, or better yet become INFECTED.

i went there last night and saw green velvet. Very pricey door and drinks, and I was told my attire was too casual (I said sorry, I'm from Texas amd its my first night here) anyway, they let me in and it was pretty swanky, good sound, good vibe in general. I definitely liked the aesthetics of the place, it would be swell to see some psy there. to be confirmed tho |

Well lets hope for the best, Lousy TBC........ Anyways if worst comes to worst looks like ill be makin the drive to toronto then. Seen them at the guvernment twice, and its sure to be a blast a third time around.

I got emails out to Sound Bar and IM's booking agent trying to get confirmation.
I just spoke to "a guy" at Sound Bar.
Infected Mushroom is in negotiation, it should be confirmed by tomorrow (Tuesday). "Most probably" they will be there. Call Sound Bar 312-787-4480 Wednesday (central time) to get the final word.
The timing with respect to metatronic happening feb12 could not be better.
I don't have a high opinion of Sound Bar but they have the money to bring in talent and I suppose that's the important thing.

I spoke to Sound Bar management about IM coming into Chicago jan28 . . .
It is still tentative as of Wednesday morning, but keep your calls coming in, Sound Bar phone # 312-787-4480
They should know by next week with certainty. I hope sooner but this is a crazy time of year you know.

I spoke again to Sound Bar mgmt today dec27. Infected Mushroom is still not confirmed. They advise calling again after the new year.

I learned the North American agent for IM is on vacation until next week, which most likely explains the delay in confirming the booking at Sound Bar. |

Infected Mushroom had an awesome show at sound-bar this weekend, and im intereseted too see what they will do next. I also hope they keep touring and enjoy LA. |

The show was sweet!!!! It was a blast, and it was totally worth the nothing i paid to get in. The RSVP list thing was awsome. I cant believe i almost didnt make it cause some bouncer guy at the door said i couldnt go in with the shows i was wearing, which i thought was really lame. Come on there just shoes!!!!! Good thing i thought ahead and brought an extra pair of shoes cause i read before hand that the sound bar is really strict on dress codes and all that crap. Despite that it was a Great show overall, though i would have liked it if they would have played some older classics, like bust a move, or psycho. Erez played soooo much keyboard, it was so awsome. The only played tracks from CV, and Supervisor, with some unrealeased tracks here and there. I really liked that they played some other ppls rmxs of their songs, like the beat hackers rmx of elation station, and the I wish rmx from skazi. The turnout was pretty good. I cant really compare it to anything else the soundbar has cause ive never been there before, but the crowd was really getting into it. The sound bar was alot smaller than i thought it would be. People were also digging infecteds dj set afterwards. Hopefully whoevers in charge at sound bar saw that ppl were really getting into the psytrance. And maybe they might start a psytrance night there, but i guess we can only hope.
