Look at it this way: they perform on that show, taking it to a higher lever, rather than the show degrading them and lowering the level :-).

that's a very negative way to look at it tal, i disagree. the reason i like IM is because they have MUSICAL tunes. meaning, they implement Music into their tunes.
now, i don't know nor do i understand or Care about the criticism about IM. If someone likes Infected and their played on the radio, im all for it. u ppl here seem to have a pigheaded approach. Ok, so IM is not Beat bizzare. so IM doesnt sound like Tim Schuldt. Who gives a shit? if all music sounded alike, it would be pretty boring. and i happen to like IM's new release. like it or Not. ):( |

More over. i think it's Hypocritical that ppl that used to dig their souls out on tracks like "Psycho", "the Gathering" and "Relase me", and enjoyed them so much, regard them now as anachronistical in nature. which they arent. (No pun intended, no particular person related, speaking in general terms.). |

IM's publicity is a very positive thing for the trance scene, the more people listen to them the more people r in the scene and it makes us all stronger (when will u ppl understand that, including Eyal Barkan, Tiesto, Yahel, Oakenfold and all the ones u so happily shit on).
I think that IM music fits into 99BU style, since it's kitchy, cheesy, easy-to-digest and not so challanging. That's exactly what I wrote. I didn't critisize them, marely stated what is obvious 4 me.
I wish for more artists to reach IM publicity level, regardless of their musical quality. The question weather I like'm or not is irrelevant here.
Stop being so sensetive, since if someone posted the same topic only with Barkan's name you would react the same.
p.s
about the music, well, I also enjoyed these trax once, but once is enough - when I start hearing the same sounds over and over again, I call it boring. |
