Compiled by dj Josko

Few words about it:

Indica Music presents Vajra. Compiled by Josko, Vajra is a 9 steps musical journey exploring the deepest side of electronic music. Vajra contains tracks from artists such as Gaudi, Cell, Aes Dana and Tikal, already known because of their releases on the most influent ambient labels, and from some exciting new projects such as chilled C’Quence and Trotter. This compilation oscillates between the dub vibes of Gaudi to the tribal rhythms of Cell to the strong psychedelic influences of Zen Mechanics and Mauxaum. The trip goes on with the magical touch of Aes Dana which deep style introduces us to the funky Jazz influences of Scene and Trotter. French act Tikal and Portuguese Chilled C’Quence close the journey with their exciting exotic vibes.
Aim of Vajra is to blend tribal music with cutting edge electronic sounds. The fusion of these contrasting elements represents the absolute innovation, the antique ritual tradition in contrast with the shamanic vision of chill out latest trend.
Vajra features Gaudi, Italian artist living in London, already well known for his albums “Bass, sweat and tears” and “Continuum”, Alex Scheffer aka Cell, which first album “Phonic peace” got a great response and who is already working on his new album going to be released on Indica Music in the next few months, Scene and Trotter, respectively from Italy and Brazil, already signed on Indica Music, and Aes Dana, who doesn’t need any introduction being one of the biggest names in the ambient scene, which track “Opalin” has been specially revisited for his live performance in Sonica Festival.
Compiled by Josko, Vajra is the third chapter in Indica’s quest for innovative music. Next releases will include Scene and Trotter’s albums and the new Cell album.

release date: SOON!

Looks great, Twipswitch, Aes Dana and Gaudi have pretty high standards, and Zen Mechanics' downbeat track on the Aleph Zero compilation was amazing as well. Wouter is an extremely promising, diverse producer.

One thing though - according to Iboga the new Cell album will come out on Sofa Beats. Who's right?           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Vajra is the latest compilation from the Italian based label 'Indica Music'. Compiled by...

...Josko, this compilation features the best artists in the Ambient Chill Out scene.

Trying to discover new directions in music and to spice up the monotonous new age style of today, this compilation is a sexy stew of electronic and ancient world influences, spontaneously blending different styles of ambient, downtempo and dub.

Vajra is a must have for ambient lovers, chillers and lazy dancers, this compilation will surely be the perfect answer for all those selective listeners!
