There are whole lot of tracks which are completely Indain classical music..Some have Indain classical samples...Some Just have indian prayers in it....

Yes I think most tracks containg Indian music are very special... but then agan any ethnic music is special for me because as a Westerner I never was exposed to it much so it is new and interesting, whereas a lot of my Asian and Indian friends find such stuff (eg Kumba Mela) annoying and very boring coz they grew p with it...

Agreed Indian classical music is wonderfully inspiring and relaxing, as is Javanese and some Thai classical music, and ethnic music in general....Check out the samples here for examples of some great classical indian music played by some of the best contemporary indian musicians..

i am waiting for some one to bring into play Rudra Veena in a track.

the intrument is so Dark.

Rudra would be Demon or Rakshas or just dark power...

it is a very special instrument.

even Graud Flute is fab

I agree,
Indian classical music is a form of trance especially the citar and the chants.

I also like listening to Tablas in a trance groove!

There are many positive aspects about this Indian influence.

People ask why trancers use indian classical music as introduction? Why do they use so many Indians names, Indian instruments, gods, images and so on...

The question is a good start to an answer.

So, if we go look for this answers we will find a lot of sources of infinite consciousness           "May the longtime sun shine upon you, all love surround you, and the pure light within you, guide your way on.

i just recently found out Pandit Ravi shankar along with Ustad Allah Rakkha Khan had played sitar and table respectively at Woodstock and it rained that evening.

no wonders these two instruments are so famous...

but there are other far more facinating instruments with beautiful sounds           Dont thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously use your intelligence
