Well well well.
Rain is knocking on our windows, the wind is whistling and the temperature is dropping down down down...
All the summer dwarfs are running away, seeking for shelter, hide and warmth.
IT IS TIME OF JUDGEMENT!!
>> Who has won and who has lost, who had fun and who had the worst. Now it is the time for summary, for drawing conclusions, for praising the best. (but not for thrashing anybody).
Which was it, the one and only, the BEST party YOU have been to this summer??
>>> Let us put our votes  for:
"The Best Party of the Summer - 2005".
This so called "Award contest" will be ruled according to the following parameters:
1. Music.
2. Location.
3. Decoration and shade.
4. Vibe.
5. Professionalism of the production.
6. People*.
RULES:
1. Everyone will name one party, and ONE PARTY ONLY, which was THE party of the summer for him/her (May - October 2005).
Yes, it is hard, very hard, to put our finger on one specific event.
But, think about the party that made you fly  . The one with the best music (overall), in the most beautifull place, with the most impressive and trippy decoration and with the best vibes in the air.
Please name the production, location (where about) and approximate date (if you forgot details you can easily find them by searching the reviews forum).
* Note - there is no such thing as best people, as we are all best people and equal in the eyes of god.
2. Points method:
Points will be given for each of the six parameters above, on a scale of 1-5, where 1 is the worst and 5 is the best. You can copy the list from this post.
3. The weight of each parameter will be as following (on a scale of 1-3 where 1 is lightest and 3 the heaviest:
- Music: 2.
- Location: 1.
- Decoration and shade: 2.
- Vibe: 3.
- Professionalism of the production: 2.
- People: 1.
explanation:
- Location and people are lightweight because good location may be far away, and people mey be ugly but nice (think about it).
- Nice and shading Deco, flow of music and professionalism of production are not easy to achieve.
- Vibe, well, vibe is in the air. If you catch it - you're lucky. It happens only once in a while, unfortunately.
4. Once you have put your points for each parameter, please multiply them by the relevant weight, and sum it all up (see example in my next post).
5. The contest will be held until the 15.12.2005, and no votes will be taken into account aftewards. The Winner Party will be pronounced by 2006 new year's eve.
Remarks:
1. Please refer to the example in the next post and make yours exactly the same, to avoid confusion . you may add additional information, detailed explanation, Killa words, remarks and suggestions for afterwards.
2. You are also welcome to pm me regarding the pointing method or any of the rules.
3. Try to stay objective as possible. and remember - the best party is not the one that you have been the most wasted or high at, nor the one that your friend played at, etc.
Good luck to all the productions, MAY THE BEST ONE WIN!!!

Chok Dee Productions 9/9 @ at the far north (Jordan border)
1. Music - 4.
2. Location - 4.
3. Decoration and shade - 1.
4. Vibe - 5.
5. Professionalism of the production - 4.
6. People* - 5.
Total = 42 points (out of 55 possible).

(detailed calculation according to the weights of each parameter: 4*2 + 4*1 + 1*2 +5*3 + 4*2 + 5*1 = 42)
Not a Killa party, as I am a full on lover and this party was more proggy oriented. still, the music was strong and flowing, and it had the best vibe, outstanding view and a very cheerful crowd!

the BEST party 4 this summer 4 me was:
3rd empire - in the desert in "shavohot"
with sun control: 
music - 5+
loc - 5
deco & shade - 5
vibe - 5 (+++)
professionalism of the prod - 5+
ppl - 5+
total = 60 of 55!!!!

The rewerd for the best party to this summer go to .. Moksha project & Ronen rasta - independence day 11.5.05 !!
with : Sensient & Eraser vs Yojalka 
Music - 5 +++++ !!
Loc - 4 + (been there to much for this summer)
Deco and Shade - 5
Vibe - 5 +
Professionalism of the prod - 4
Ppl - 5 ( i never judge ppl about the exterior )
Total - i dont really understand how to do the calculation but i know that this was the party that i will remember for along time .. so i think i will give 53!

my vote goes to the 3rd Empire party with Liquid Soul.
1. Music: (5) *10
Yoss (exelant), Assaf Domo (exelant), Yotopia - live (exelant), Liquid Soul (wonderful) and Gabi (simply fucking briliant)
2. Location: (4) *4
In the middle of the desert near Ktsiot.
3. Decoration and shade: (5) *10
very nice deco and VJ, trees in the middle of the desert, about an acre of Shade and sprinklers
4. Vibe: (5) *15
as good as it gets
5. Professionalism of the production: (5) *10
I dont think I have to explain again the attention to details that the 3rd empire give. from the busses to the sound to the sprinklers and the air conditioned tents.....
6. People: (5) *5
750 of the best of the 3rd Empire tribe

I must agree with Mr. Shanti here.
The best party of summer 2005 award goes to . . . . . .
(drum roll please) 
3rd Empire Summer Days, Full Moon Nights Part 1
Music: 10 out of 5 - Line up was perfect, from the begining till the very end! (including Liquid Soul's live which was the best I've heard so far)
Location: 10 out 5 - Trees in the desert?!
Decoration and shade: 10 out of 5 - that huge worm, or was it a dragon, or a dinosaur? Whatever it was, sure was freeeeaky!  A full moon & over a billion stars....
Vibe: 10 out of 5 - The dancefloor felt SAFE. Lots of powerful, positive energies and dust!
Professionalism of the production: 10 out of 5 - 3rd Empire . . . Say no more!
People: Smiles, smiles and more smiles! Desert warriors!
Okay, maybe I cheated a little bit with the points  , but with no doubt, whatsoever, this one recieves my vote!

does the Moksha Purim rave count (it was the openning of the season)?
well, in case that it doesn't, i'll give my vote to Moksha Party with Midi Miliz:
Music - 5 - Midi Miliz Live - the best live of the year!
Location - 4 - well, it was close to my house and i like Nitzanim anyway.
Decoration and shade - 5 - exactly how it should be
Vibe - 4 - Karahana atmosphere, especially in Midi Miliz' live.
Professionalism of the production - 5 - since i don't remember any problems, no need to drop points here...
People- 4 - 600 people, most of them were just great.
so, how much is it now?  50/60.
btw, have to mention 3rd empire and doof for keeping it real all summer time. respecta

OK,
I see the points and weights idea is a bit too much to handle for us stone heads.
So - just give your points to each parameter/criteria (1-5), and in the end we can figure out the winners:
best party overall, best party for music, best party for vibe, etc.
and no cheating with the points please (psygirl - nu nu nu)

first party of the season- half an year ago in march
nico's party near the far north hermon mount'!!!
music: ryijy was great yuli gave one of his best sets ever and yotopia were briliant as well -5
shade:midle of the winter no need-5
deco-in such a party just no nedd for that -5
vibe-best vibe ever especially with the heavy rain in the morning!! -5000!!!!
professionalism-not the most profesional production-3.
overoll it was like half an year ago i dont cant wait for the next one!!
