I wanna remind everybody some basic things : )

Ahm.. Most of you might not remember but Portugal did have a section of it's own some years ago. It was a nice section for a while, not just full of party and djs/producers promotions but, then the section began to reflect what happened to the scene in Portugal, too many freak wannabes, kids and way to much people with their heads far up their ass.. discussions were a constant, not healthy, constructive criticism and discussions.. it was more like "fuck you, what you listen sucks ass" and "I really do lotsa drugs, I am a real freak" and all the stuff of the kind, which became nasty because it was happening ALL THE TIME! So, and very righteously, Isratrance administration decided to close the section, regardless of the rest of the people who really enjoyed posting and have their own constructive and creative discussions on our "psychedelic" culture begged for that not to happen. It stayed like that for some time, I can't remember how long and, finally, after much begging and nagging, our beloved admins decided to open a mixed section of Iberia, which wasn't exactly what us portuguese wanted but hey, it was way better than nothing! a3k, you must remember this, and you know it's true. People were just abnoxious and stupid most of the times to the point where you couldn't post something without getting dissed for whatever opinion you had! This just to state that there is effectively a need to "draw a line" and that chaos only leads to more chaos and disorder, and anarchy is never good, there is a need for control that most of ourselves don't have. That is why there are authorities (ex: forum mods), to keep us in line, or else shit will hit the fan and then everything gets f*cked up beyond all recognition. So, yeah, I do agree on the rules and control demanded by the mods because if you don't like it you can always leave, nobody asked you to sign up nor post.
Sorry if this is too long, but I was just trying to make a point.

everyone who is swearing all the time and just bitching around here should leave. i guess there are so many forums just made for such crackheads.
i really can't believe some answers i read here when asked to follow some simple rules. do you always talk to people in such way? i guess not cause you wouldn't be able to use a pc after meeting the wrong person.

If people want to swear let them.
You might not like it but they should have the freedom to use what ever words they want really. Most of the time people use "swear" words as adjectives. Whats the harm?

What no being arrogant??? when did that get into the rules?
May as well just ban me now and be done with it.
Your point is well taken though TDR, the people who run this forum have a vision for it and its their forum to run as they see fit, we can choose to be here or not.
It could be that even though the restrictions on drugs, politics discussions are annoying, they may be part of why this forum is so successful, probably the biggest psytrance forum on the net. Maybe to have people from this many countries and backgrounds on a forum such rules are needed to prevent it from degenerating into chaos.
On the other hand, a lot of people clearly do want to be discussing politics and stuff with the international trance community, and this forum has such a large membership, it is natural that people want to see the possibilities for discussion opened up.
It would be an interesting experiment if the mods would just make a general discussion forum where drugs, politics etc can be discussed. If it went to hell the mods could just lock it up like they have with regional forums in the past.
