About a week ago, I was at a friends house and he started playing old Quirk-stuff from Matsuri, and also some of their really nice sideprojects like Goatranch 7 etc.

How come no one makes music like this any more?? For me, Quirk was one of the best acts trough out the years that trance existed.
Their music were never boring, but freaky, funky and danceable.. all at the same time.

Just take the album "Machina electronica and fornax chemica" for example.
What an album!!!

Tim Healy releases funky club oriented material.
It sounds different but it still can kick some ass.
Check out Electric Tease - Do That Thing.
It's a great peace of music!           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Hey man, its not just Quirk!
Its the free trance, that was gone, where is it????
I was listening couple days ago to Quixotic - sprong, and man what a freaky track, where are those freaky tracks, it was only this...
Its like the trance of today is stuck on this dancefloor formula, and forgot what is freedom in music, could you imagine those sounds on a party full of acid, this can cause ppl really mental problems....
I miss the free trance!           Be Pleasent.

cognitive dissidents... one of the longest teasing tracks i ever heard...

EVERY time you expect it's going to break and burst out into ecstatic trance... it doesn't! then in the end you finally get what you've been waiting for for 7 minutes!

loooove this track!           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. Get a free 250Mb Artist profile, Blog and events calender!

i do miss the quirky stuff toooo
i think anybody with some history in and love for goatrance feels the same way..

tracks like cognitive dissidents, ping, robotised...and many more still rocks the mind and dancefloor when played..and give sudden flashbacks to the back of our minds to forgotten memories and make u smile like never before           ill push u over the edge, and will be smiling when u cant take anymore, at that point ill push a little harder till u experience true psychdelica
